Pour ce faire, chaque personne doit d’abord s’enregistrer sur le site de Kraft Hockeyville, démarche qui ne prend que quelques instants et donne ensuite le droit de voter de façon illimitée. Le comité était également en attente d’un autre appui majeur d’un joueur de la LNH qui devrait se confirmer dans les prochaines heures.

Comme mentionné sur nos ondes, si la municipalité remporte le match présaison de la LNH, celui-ci aura probablement lieu dans une ville avoisinante et dans un aréna capable de recevoir ce calibre de jeu-là. Dans les années antérieures, lorsqu’une municipalité du Québec ou encore des Maritimes remporte le concours, la rencontre était entre le Canadien de Montréal et les Sénateurs d’Ottawa et on y retrouve les Beaucerons Joshua Roy et Thomas Chabot dans ses deux formations respectives. C’est aujourd’hui dès 9h jusqu’à demain 17h que les gens pourront participer au vote du concours Kraft Hockeyville pour choisir la municipalité qui va remporter le grand prix de 250 000$ ainsi qu’une rencontre de la Ligue nationale de hockey (LNH) et les résidents de Saint-Anselme, dans Bellechasse, invitent toute la région de Chaudière-Appalaches à se mobiliser pour leur municipalité.

Voting is now open for Kraft Hockeyville, and with West Lorne decked out in gold and black, they are asking everybody to vote as much as possible.

Tout se passe ici, que ce soit le hockey, la ringuette, le patin artistique, le patin libre, le camp de jour, le sentier glacé... «Kraft Hockeyville, c’est aussi une façon de mettre la pression sur le gouvernement. La toiture, le revêtement extérieur, les vestiaires, les douches, les bancs des joueurs et estrades ne sont que quelques autres éléments en grave manque d’amour. On pense que cette notoriété pourrait nous aider à passer au-dessus de la pile quand viendra le temps de discuter avec le gouvernement», estime-t-il. «Ce qui nous réjouit le plus de ce concours, c’est la visibilité que ça nous donne.

Chantelle Proulx is responsible for getting Ste. “The response in the last three weeks since top four (was announced) has been overwhelming... “We knew we had a great need for this money, so, the timing couldn't have been better for when this contest came around and when we were in the running for it,” she says. She says the grand prize money will really help save the arena.
