Allowing two second-period goals in 1:28 turned a 3-2 nail biter into a 5-2 Blues advantage.

Said Berube: “This is a good situation for him, He’s got them playing better defensively. “Even on the 6-on-5 at the end, him just being around the net. Joshua worked the wall on his first shift for a strip to set up Pettersson. Tocchet believes the big winger hasn’t come near his potential and it showed. Demko made a number of early saves to keep the Blues from building a cushion. — A Guillaume Brisebois offensive zone gaffe with a cross-ice pass that was picked off by Alexei Toropchenko. And that’s where the constant clamour for consistency and puck management is going to be a common practice refrain. I thought our bottom six were in our end too much.” We weren’t starting on pucks. They pulled to within a goal at 5-4 when the building chemistry between Elias Pettersson and Andrei Kuzmenko was once again on display. It allowed Brayden Schenn to find Jakob Vrana for the winner and his second goal of the night. Article content

NHL Odds, Preview, Prediction: Canucks vs. Blues (March 28) (The Action Network)

Grant White breaks down Tuesday's NHL game between the Vancouver Canucks and St. Louis Blues.

That is below their season rating of 44.2% and among the worst marks in the league over that span. The content on this page is for informational purposes only. Louis remains one of the worst franchises in the NHL, putting together the fifth-worst expected goals-for rating on the campaign. These teams are positioned on opposite ends of the analytics spectrum. The Blues went from St. [expected goals](https://www.actionnetwork.com/nhl/nhl-expected-goals-models-betting-how-to-bet-on-nhl)-for rating, second-worst in the NHL. There appears to be no limiting the Canucks success with Tocchet manning the helm. Louis Blues](https://www.actionnetwork.com/nhl/odds/st.-louis-blues) have a conceivable path to the playoffs, but that’s not stopping either from putting their best foot forward to end the season. Vancouver’s presence has improved on both ends of the ice. They are getting the most out of their offense, and Thatcher Demko is thriving under Tocchet’s structure. Kudos to Rick Tocchet for righting the Canucks’ ship. Get up-to-the-minute [NHL Odds](https://www.actionnetwork.com/nhl/odds)here.

NHL Odds: Canucks vs. Blues prediction, pick, how to watch – 3/28 ... (ClutchPoints)

The Vancouver Canucks take on the St. Louis Blues as we continue our NHL odds series with a Canucks-Blues prediction, pick, how to watch.

The Canucks have been scoring just as good as St. They are the only two players on St. The Canucks need Miller to continue this play as the game against the Blues will not be a defensive battle. The Blues will have to win a high-scoring game in this one, so they will have to rely on Jordan Kyrou, Rosen, and Buchnevich. In the last game, the Blues gave up five first-period goals to Los Angeles. The Canucks will need strong play on the attack from both Miller and Hughes. When the Canucks give up less than three goals, they have a record of 20-1-0. In their last ten games, the Blues have a record of 6-3-1. In their last game, the Canucks went down early after the first period in Chicago. Vancouver has been playing exceptionally well in the last ten games. The Blues are on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs. The Canucks are 8-2-0 in their last ten games and have won their last three.

Vancouver Canucks vs. St. Louis Blues Prediction, NHL Odds (Sports Interaction)

As the season winds down, the Vancouver Canucks are turning it up. They've won three straight games, five out of their last six, and 10 out of their last 12 ...

Their last few games have seen a lot of goals slip into the back of the net on both sides. The over has hit in five of their last seven against Pacific Division teams and four of their last five against teams with a losing overall record. Him and Collin Delia have been alternating in the net throughout the last 10 games and with Delia starting the last game, we should see Demko. The Blues have been ramping up their offense lately to make up for the leaky defense. The total has gone over 32-15-5 over the span of their last 52 games played on the road. Louis is just 1-7 in their last eight games when playing in the fourth matchup of a 4-in-6 situation.

St. Louis Blues Pros/Cons From 2022-23 Game 74 Vs Vancouver (Bleedin' Blue)

The St. Louis Blues were in a battle to decide who might finish with a higher draft pick with the Vancouver Canucks. Fans of the tank won't be pleased.

They got right in on the attack and finished it off. Luckily, the Blues turned it back on in overtime. The end of the game was just a travesty. It’s just the way it’s been for the Blues. Similarly, the Blues had too many guys in front of their own net on the goal that made it 5-4. The second was just a smart move. The first one was just a fire it and hope kind of shot. Too often, the Blues wait and cycle that around and get nothing. It was a nice goal, but an important goal because the Blues took advantage of Vancouver not clearing the puck. This emptied the net for Andrei Kuzmenko and a 5-4 game. Then, like in LA, the Blues offense came to life. Jake Neighbours got into a fight midway through the second and got in several decent right hands.
