Taylor also calls back to the lyric, "We met a few weeks ago / Now you try on callin' me "baby" like tryin' on clothes', on Reputation's 'King of My Heart' which is also about Joe. Check out the full lyrics below. Given that the song was recorded for Lover, which features multiple Joe songs, it seems safe to assume that 'All Of The Girls You Loved Before' is about Joe. [Luke Combs](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/15/arts/music/luke-combs-growing-up.html) perfects the humblebrag in “5 Leaf Clover.” It’s a sturdy waltz that exults in a good life: hometown, partner, friends, a truck in the driveway, healthy parents and “a fridge full of cold beer,” not to mention a tail-wagging dog. Alynda Segarra of Hurray for the Riff Raff harmonizes with Rose on the chorus, on which the pair dispense some bittersweet wisdom: “You know there’s no place safe to run/Angels surround everyone.” ZOLADZ [100 gecs](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/28/arts/music/100-gecs-10000-gecs.html), opens with a pretty hilarious sonic joke: a sample of the nostalgic and evocative THX Deep Note, as if to say, 100 gecs: Now in Glistening Hi-Fi. [Willie Nelson-Julio Iglesias](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVq0ONrSH-Q) hit — have just “made you the one I’ve fallen for.” The previously unreleased track from her “Lover” era is one of four songs, the rest re-recordings, Swift put out on Friday ahead of the start of her [Eras Tour](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/16/arts/music/taylor-swift-eras-tour-tickets-fans.html). “Thing or 2” drifts in and out of formlessness. “Don’t know why, don’t know why, don’t know why we love this way,” she sings, before deciding the best course is not to ask too many questions but simply lose herself in the rapture of the groove. On May 12, Alison Goldfrapp — the longtime voice of the beloved electro-pop duo Goldfrapp — will release her first solo album, “The Love Invention.” Its debut single, “So Hard So Hot,” is a blissed-out dance floor reverie, as shimmery synths and Goldfrapp’s breathy vocals drift over a thumping beat. 100 gecs, Taylor Swift, Villages and more new music you need to ... (Toronto Star)

This week's Star Tracks playlist also includes new music from JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown, Lonnie Holley and Invent Animate.

[Eight dollars too much, this past expensive](https://www.thestar.com/business/technology/2022/11/05/elon-musks-8-monthly-twitter-verification-scheme-is-officially-live-for-some-heres-what-that-means.html),” JPEGMAFIA declares at the outset of “Lean Beef Patty,” the delightfully topical and unhinged lead single from the rapper’s upcoming collaborative album with Danny Brown. At 29, Holley began working as an artist, his earliest works comprised of sandstone carvings and “sculptures constructed nearly entirely from salvaged junkyard detritus.” His artwork was eventually acquired by the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Smithsonian. Diddy’s 2002 hit [“I Need A Girl”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGUttrXgzLI) that has been sped up to oblivion, the Baltimore artist takes explicit aim at disgraced superstar Kanye West and pizza mogul Papa John, and sneaks in subtle shots at Drake and Lil Yachty. Released last week, Holley’s second album, “Oh Me Oh My,” is a poignant collection of songs and spoken-word reflections on suffering, resilience, memory and mortality, one that recalls other retrospective late-life releases from titans like Gil Scott-Heron, Leonard Cohen and David Bowie. [THX theme](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPQmyUKo48A), the track pivots to guitar riff that sounds like it could be written by Deryck Whibley in 2001, before transitioning into hip-hop inflected verse with a distorted bass line lifted directly from “ [SICKO MODE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ONRf7h3Mdk).” It’s bizarre, and, in the wrong context, very annoying. The track is crushing and powerful, and it’s another a great move by the band to showcase some range in a genre that often places too much emphasis on guitar-driven breakdowns. On Friday, the duo of Dylan Brady and Laura Les released their highly-anticipated sophomore project, “10,000 gecs,” a “ Following a (hilarious) sample of the [berzerkus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PWMiy4RysI)” 26-minutes of chaos that swings wildly between abrasive noise and undeniably hooks. “In the middle of the night / should you find me still looked over / String the fiddle up tight / And softly play me off,” vocalist Matt Ellis lilts amid glistening strings and mandolin “Play the Fiddle All Night.” Indeed, the album’s boot-stomping climax acts as reminder that life is short, and it can be cruel — so grab a pint, hit the pub, and celebrate while you can. “Drop everything now,” goes the oft-quoted tag line of Taylor Swift’s 2010 coming-of-age album, “Speak Now.” And drop everything, Swift has. Star Tracks compiles the most interesting new music from a broad range of established and emerging artists.

[Hunger Games](https://ew.com/movies/everything-we-know-the-hunger-games-ballad-of-songbirds-and-snakes/) prequel. Maybe Swift wants to remind us just how much unreleased music she has stored away in her little recording lair waiting to be rabidly consumed by the masses. As for Swift, to commemorate the kickoff, she released four new(ish) songs: two [rerecorded](https://youtu.be/a5Icr9m8vbc) [tracks](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3fnZBSnlgw) from the 2012’s The Hunger Games soundtrack, a rerecorded version of “ [If This Was a Movie](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wZEx9A8p9k)” from the 2010 deluxe version of Speak Now, and a scrapped song from 2019’s Lover called “All of the Girls You Loved Before.” Knowing her, there’s a very specific reason, but that’s for the Swifties to figure out. Taylor Swift Eras Tour Setlist: All the Songs From the Glendale Show (Variety)

Here's the full setlist from the first night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Glendale, Ariz., updating live.

The tour broke the record for the most concert tickets sold by an artist in one day with 2.4 million, and the Ticketmaster debacle even led to a hearing in Congress over the lack of competition in the ticketing industry. Overwhelming demand for tickets when they went on sale in November caused Ticketmaster to crash, resulting in disappointment for hundreds of thousands of fans. Regardless, the Eras Tour is shaping up to be something out of her fans’ wildest dreams — those who were able to get tickets, that is.

and follows the release of her new album “Midnights” last fall. So there is surely more Taylor Swift content for fans to ponder over in the coming months. (Adding “Taylor’s Version” to the end of the song titles makes them appear on streaming platforms.) The lilting acoustic guitar licks are just as clean as they were in 2012, and Swift sounds in great form. Unless, of course, you count the recent leak of that song, which has been doing the rounds on TikTok since before Valentine’s Day, “Eyes Open” and “Safe and Sound” were originally recorded for the “Hunger Games” franchise — a film series which seems to be having a well-timed renaissance across TikTok — while “If This Was a Movie” was a bonus track on “Speak Now.” “All Of The Girls You Loved Before,” a “Lover” cast-off, has never been released until now.
