Vancouver Canucks vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction, NHL Odds (Sports Interaction)

Arizona has picked up their play recently, winning their past four games played at home in Mullett Arena. They are also riding a season-high five-game point ...

Goalie [Connor Ingram](https://news.sportsinteraction.com/nhl/player/connor-ingram-6656) faced over 40 shots for the fourth straight game but stopped 42 to snap a four-game winless skid. Miller](https://news.sportsinteraction.com/nhl/player/jt-miller-4589), who picked up two points (1G, 1A) for the third game in a row. Vancouver will open a three-game trip Thursday in Arizona, looking to improve their 13-15-4 record on the road. Mullett Arena has proven to be a difficult environment for visiting teams to play in, as the Coyotes have an impressive 18-11-3 record at home. They have averaged 2.8 goals per game this season (27th in NHL), but with their recent success, the goal-scoring has improved to 4.2 per game over their past five. [Brock Boeser](https://news.sportsinteraction.com/nhl/player/brock-boeser-6384) put up three assists in the game, but no Canuck has been hotter than [J.T. [Thatcher Demko](https://news.sportsinteraction.com/nhl/player/thatcher-demko-6070) has been great in goal since his return from injury. They are still second in the league in goals against per game (3.8), but they have only surrendered more than three goals twice in the past 10 games. They hosted the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night and got ahead early thanks to Phil Di Giuseppe’s third of the season just over a minute into the game. Andrei Kuzmenko would net his team-leading 33rd goal on the power play before the end of the first and the Canucks would carry the momentum for the win. Early bettors are already split 50-50 on the moneyline as well as the Over/Under. The Canucks took a 3-2 overtime win over the Coyotes in their first meeting of the season back in December.

Vancouver Canucks at Arizona Coyotes prediction, pick for 3/16 ... (Yardbarker)

The Vancouver Canucks and the Arizona Coyotes meet Thursday in Tempe, Ariz., with both clubs on a hot streak.

Dalvin Cook Trade Possible Dalvin Cook Trade Scenario With Bills The main issue I'm having even to begin to believe that Buffalo is in on a Dalvin Cook trade is the salary cap issues. Steelers And Bengals Rivalry Just Got Even Better This is definitely going to be a new challenge for the edge rusher, but in a small sample size, is a battle that he has shown capable of winning in the past. The Los Angeles Lakers were often pointed to as the top — and often only — team with a serious interest in swinging a trade for the mercurial star. It came in the 55 minutes into the game to put United 1-0 up in Spain and 5-1 ahead on aggregate. According to Maddy Glab of the Bills' website, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane said on Thursday that Hamlin is "dialed in" and has "every intention to play" perhaps as soon as during the 2023 NFL season. This leaves Jackson with few options in terms of teams with a need at the position and the cap space to sign a player of his caliber. A team interested in him would not only need to have the space to sign him, but also the confidence that their deal would be too rich for the Ravens to match. Gordon got Kuminga up into the air with a pump fake but veered unnaturally into Kuminga to create the contact. Cam Charron: I like the idea of Bedard going to a team that kind of has established NHL talent already, I would prefer that for him but I think wherever he goes he’s already going to be a star and if he can go to a team who has a couple of pieces up in the lineup for him he can be a real difference maker and you could see that become a team that could already make the playoffs. The Falcons have an aging running back in Cordarrelle Patterson (who turns 32 later this month) and another back in 22-year-old Tyler Allgeier who has talent but has yet to prove that he is true RB1 material. I was with the Toronto Maple Leafs when we got Auston Matthews and in the year leading up to Matthews, we were a better team than we were in 2015 that was the McDavid year where everyone, Edmonton, Buffalo and Arizona specifically kind of fell apart. "Our group has been working hard in practice and really trying to dial in the structure and get these wins.

Canucks Takeaways: A deserved but well-timed loss vs. Coyotes (Sportsnet.ca)

Nobody on the Canucks actually wants to lose. But if you're going to have a five-game winning streak end, it couldn't happen against a better team than the ...

Failing to reward them with full playing time would undermine the meritocracy Tocchet is eager to build and, more importantly, send a message to players that the whole thing is a con – that losing is actually desirable enough that the coach would keep his best players on the bench to try to achieve it. It seemed like old times the way the Canucks lost this game on special teams, as they did so often when Bruce Boudreau was coaching. He made nice plays to set up both Canuck goals and has seven goals and 16 points in 18 games with Vancouver. After an offensively-inert second period when the Canucks were badly outplayed at even-strength, Tocchet tweaked his lines in the third period. And while it certainly helps to have been glued to Pettersson’s hip when the Canucks’ star is having a truly elite season, Beauvillier’s speed, puck-hounding and renewed offensive confidence would be an asset to anyone right now. Veteran defenceman Tyler Myers gave away the puck in his own zone on the first Arizona goal, and the Canucks’ 32nd-ranked penalty kill surrendered two goals on three chances to the Coyotes’ no-name power play.

Coyotes upend Canucks for third-straight win at home (AZCentral.com)

The 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday solidified a three-game winning streak as the Coyotes have earned points in the last seven games.

“The last couple of weeks, Kells and I have been really driving the bus for us,” Crouse said. Special teams got a breather once the Coyotes earned the man advantage and got clicking. “All of a sudden, you keep trying those things and get some bounces. A turnover from Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers led the way for Boyd’s wrist shot to escape Thatcher Demko to gain some momentum coming out of the first period. It’s a lot of fun and I think that helps too,” Boyd said. There wasn’t much time for the Coyotes to settle into the game before the penalty kill unit had to take over after Victor Soderstrom was called for holding at 1:34.

GSAx: It was the roughest game of Demko’s return to action, and that says a lot about the level he has been playing at for this to be the case. The Brothers Karamazov, Canucks edition: It might become a game of seeing which young Russian will be the one to step up in any given game. Essentially, with him on the ice, Vancouver was likely to score 96% of the time and concede only 4% of the time. Some holes are insurmountable no matter the amount of pressure applied, and it’s almost always easier to defend a lead than to try to claw back into it. In this one, he was simply alright, and unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for the Canucks to grab another win on the road. Myers was on ice for all three goals against, giving up the highest xGA (1.12) on the team as well as the most scoring chances against (16) and high-danger scoring chances against (5). He might be all smiles, but the Kuzmenkshow is all game on the ice. In total, Vancouver held a 17-9 advantage in HDCF, backing up much of the heat map on display from last night. The Canucks still find themselves ahead, but only by a 10-8 high-danger chance for differential. It might not sound like much, but that was all it took for Arizona to take the lead, one they would add to just moments into the third period as an insurance marker. A heat map like this normally wouldn’t be cause for much concern for the Canucks. The large majority of this game’s flow was spent in the Canucks’ favour.
