The Real Winners and Losers From AEW Revolution 2023 Match Card (Bleacher Report)

AEW Revolution 2023 may have been the least hyped show All Elite Wrestling has put together, but that did not stop the company from putting together an…

Taking the gold from the most popular tag team in AEW to crown a widely disliked heel tandem was dangerous. The story of Saraya and Toni Storm tormenting the AEW original talent has evolved. He has an easy story to tell with MJF when the time is right. It was a smart heel turn that may breath new life into the heel stable. The closest he got to true success was winning the AEW Tag Team Championships with Luchasaurus. It was a shocking result but the right decision, finally crowning House of Black. Fans got to see that the 25-year-old could be more than just a good wrestler. Absolute has been made, and much like Orange Cassidy and MJF before him, he can ride this straight to the top. It was a brutal bloody main event that further improved the standing of the AEW world champion. Hopefully, this is the end of the Stark vs. However, a definitive win over The Wizard was the final piece. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry, Ricky Starks and House of Black picked up career-defining wins that could be setting the course for their AEW future.

AEW Revolution 2023: Every Match Ranked Worst To Best (TheSportster)

AEW Revolution 2023 is in the record books! Which match was the best at the pay-per-view?

For anyone else however, this would serve as the blow-off to a great feud between two of the top guys in AEW with some true violence on display. This would be utterly insane, with MJF nailing Bryan with an oxygen tank for a near knockout, some big nearfalls from Danielson, before Bryan would ultimately tap as MJF would retain the AEW World Championship in an all-time great main event. With Danielson locking in a submission for the final minute, MJF would hold on, not tapping until after the time limit with the match finishing as a draw before being restarted as a Sudden Death! This would finish with a bonkers finish, and The House of Black would win the Trios Championship! Page would nail the Buckshot Lariat, before hanging Moxley with a chain over the ring ropes, forcing Jon Moxley to tap out in a brutal, all-time great match for these two men. In the end, Jamie would be the MVP of the match, as expected, picking up the win as she would retain the AEW Women's World Championship! This would prove to be a hot opener for the PPV, with Jericho and Starks both being incredibly over with the crowd. One of the longest running stories in AEW would be put on hold after Christian Cage went down with an injury following AEW All Out. With there being no rules here, this would start with some hot offense out of the gate at ringside before the three would head into the crowd for brawling. However, the eight men within would attempt to give fans something worthwhile in the semi-main event of the PPV, with Orange Cassidy, Danhausen, & The Acclaimed being wildly over. The story on TV has been extremely underwhelming, and with this coming after the insanity of the Trios Championship Match, the ladies would have their work cut out for them. With Starks already having beaten Jericho, this would be another big match for the young star against Y2J, with the entire Jericho Appreciation Society banned from ringside.

The way this played out was somewhat predictable, but it was all executed so well that nobody is going to care. Medics attended to both men as Tony Schiavone came to the ring to announce that the match would go into overtime until a winner was declared. Before either man scored a fall, Danielson began to favor his left arm which was injured during the leadup to this match. Both men were trying to prove they were the superior performer, so they ended up coming to a stalemate more than once. Despite the early onslaught from The Wardaddy, Joe was able to turn things around and hit a suicide dive. Starks kicked out of a Codebreaker to pop the crowd and keep himself in the contest. The Gunns vs. Surprisingly, the match did not end as a result of a finisher. - The Gunns vs. This won't be considered the best match of Starks' career, but it was definitely one of his biggest wins. Biggest Takeaways From 2023 AEW Revolution Results (Bleacher Report)

All Elite Wrestling presented its first pay-per-view of 2023, Revolution, an event that provided hope and excitement for the underrated. The House of Black…

Until then, take the time and develop a new incarnation of the Jericho persona. Doing something similar in AEW, even if only for a month or two, will go a long way in helping to keep him fresh. Alongside Saraya and Storm, she will have the opportunity to belong, something she never really had the opportunity to do, no matter how often she was pushed into the title picture. Soho has been a top contender for the AEW World Women's Championship before, but she never really had the opportunity to develop a character. His presence alone helped attract viewers and develop a following for the promotion. Making the decision, hearing the feedback from the fans and what is sure to be critical acclaim from analysts should expedite the desire to run it back. Her turn strengthens a growing faction that Tony Khan and Co. In doing so, they shook off a year or so of questionable creative and inconsistent booking to emerge better off than they were entering the event. Instead, the group would appear in half-hearted programs that ultimately saw them lose before moving on to another program that was likely to do more harm than good. Not only was the booking choice the right one, but Omega and the Bucks also clearly had trust in what Black and Co. She will have the chance to establish a persona that will beg the audience to hate her and it will be on her to make them do that. The faction has always had the look and feel of an act that could be a top-tier one in AEW but not always had the creative support to back it up.

AEW Revolution 2023: Results, News, and Analysis (Last Word on Baseball)

Last Word on Pro Wrestling is here with all of the news and results for AEW Revolution 2023 as MJF takes on Brian Danielson.

The shoulder of Danielson was a focal point throughout the match as was the knee of MJF. As well as to provide you with analysis, previews, videos, interviews, and editorials on the wrestling world. Outside of the main event, it appears that the feud between Christan Cage and Jungle Boy has come to an end. The Guns retained the AEW World Tag Team Championships in a four-way match. You can always count on LWOPW to be on top of important news in the wrestling world. The inexperience in matches of this length of the part of MJF was highlighted throughout the match as MJF ran to take a water break about halfway through the match and at the 40-minute time mark. We also saw the return of FTR as they have the Gunns and the AEW World Tag Team Championships in their sights. The House of Black defeated The Elite to become the new AEW World Trios Champions. With the referee distracted again MJF tried using the Dynamite Diamond Ring but Danielson reversed for a near fall. MJF took back control with a pinfall after piledriving Danielson through the remains of a table outside of the ring. The main event saw a 60-Minute Iron Man Match between MJF and Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship. We saw multiple titles change hands as The AEW World Trios Championships and AEW TNT Championship changed hands.

Can't Knock The Hustle: AEW Revolution 2023 Pros & Cons Review (LordsofPain.net)

MJF. Bryan Danielson. 60 minutes. Jon Moxley. “Hangman” Adam Page. Texas Death Match. In San Francisco, California. Jungle Boy. Christian Cage.

– The pace. Danielson wins and wins and wins, earns a title shot, loses the title shot, then wins and wins and wins, earns a title shot, loses the title shot, and so on and so forth. There was a lot of concern that he wouldn’t be able to carry his end of a match this long, and all he did was give the performance of his life. Pros: – The crowd. – Blood. Eight matches on the main card, and four of them received great ratings from me, with the main event being a Match Of The Year classic. – The crowd. – Not a ton of falls yet. He opens his ring robe to show that he appears to be in the best shape of his career. Add that up, and there’s a lot of spot, walk, walk, walk, spot, walk, pose for the crowd, spot, pose for the crowd, walk, walk, walk, etc. The match did everything it was supposed to do, and it was put together very well. Ricky Starks needs to be positioned as a bigger deal, and this can be the start of that.

Back in and MJF catches him on top, only to get headbutted down for the Swan Dive. Having Danielson tap is going to get people annoyed as the hero falls, but MJF can get a lot of bragging out of that one. A running dropkick against the barricade rocks MJF again and Danielson starts in on the leg back inside. With Danielson down, MJF shouts that Danielson isn’t the best in the world and that he f****** sucks. MJF is defending in a sixty minute Iron Man match and gets a masked orchestra to play him (in a mask as well) to the ring. A powerbomb onto the knee gives MJF two and he breaks up a skin of the cat with a low superkick (into the Shawn Michaels pose). In a clever move, MJF tells the fans to clear out and then throws Danielson the other way. Danielson wants to prove he is the best in the world and MJF wants the moniker for himself. Back in and King wrecks everyone in front of him to take over, including a running crossbody to crush Omega against the barricade. That leaves Nese to add a 450 for two on Briscoe and we get the parade of strikes to the face. Choking on the ropes, including that stand on the back and hold the ropes spot that Christian does, is broken up and Jungle Boy sends him to the floor. The Froggy Bow is broken up though and it’s a Tower of Doom to leave everyone but Nese laying.
