There's a lot of excitement around it and a lot of people wanting to do this with us. Apart from the nominees and some of the biggest names in anime which will obviously come out for the big night, a couple of celeb anime fans have also been invited to join in on the fun. While we're used to most of our favorite award shows taking place in either the eastern or western time zones, this one is a little bit different due to it taking place in Tokyo. "We saw this massive opportunity to connect so many fans in so many parts of the world to the creators behind their biggest shows. But we're really excited to see what it looks like for Europe and the Americas," said Brady McCollum, Crunchyroll's Chief Operating Officer. And while this isn't the first time they're hosting their official Anime Awards, this year is completely different.
