NFL star Aaron Rodgers has returned to normal life after spending four days in total darkness as part of a gruelling isolation retreat.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has completed his "darkness retreat" in Oregon, according to ESPN.

“I’m probably going to have a better sense of where I’m at in my life,” Rodgers said. “It’s a darkness retreat,” he said, adding that it’s something he’s wanted to do for years. Rodgers would have been left alone throughout with the exception of a once-a-day visit. “It’s just sitting in isolation, meditation, dealing with your thoughts,” he said. Aaron Rodgers said there are aspects of the retreat that everybody should embrace, such as "unplugging."

“We will have an hour orientation in which we will bring you up to the cabin, get you situated, review the meal plan, run through the day-to-day, and answer any questions that you may have,” the website states. The facility’s website states that both meals are served at sunset to minimize disturbance. The stay at Sky Cave Retreats is based on personal preference. Guests at Sky Cave Retreats are served two daily “simple organic meals” delivered through a wooden door. It is fully powered and includes hot water plumbing and lights that can be turned on from inside the room. There is a bell inside the dark room that guests can ring for additional support.

Aaron Rodgers has resurfaced from his darkness retreat, but as of Friday morning, we remain in the dark in relation to his intention.

But I know that some fans have everything crossed that he’ll be making the jump to NY. Rodgers is on the books for nearly $60 million in 2023. Ever since this drama began, the most likely scenario was that he would return to Green Bay in 2023 if he decided to continue playing.
