Buffalo, meanwhile, has hit the over or pushed in 31 of 54 matchups (57.4%) thanks to its combination of efficient scoring and messy goaltending. Toronto has gone over in four of its six games this month. Buffalo won two of its past three games on a West Coast trip, while Toronto started its road trip with a loss in Chicago on Sunday. The Sabres rank fourth in shooting percentage at 5-on-5 (9.4%) and 24th in 5-on-5 save percentage (.909). Key stat: Nylander has a point in 41 games this season (71.9%), while Thompson has a point in 37 games (68.5%). Also, Tuch had four shots (and a goal) against the Maple Leafs in November. With the chemistry and the understanding of the way Mitch and I play off of one another, we will continue to grow on that front — especially for me playing in a different position. When you are playing center, you are in the middle of the ice a lot, whether it is offensively or defensively, and it’s where you are getting the puck a lot. I try not to overcomplicate it, but it is a good opportunity for me. I have to continue to do a good job adapting to a lot of wall play, offensively and defensively. There have been some really good things and also some areas where we know we can be a little bit better, a little bit sharper, and continue to get a sense of reading off of one another and how it all kind of works. By winning percentage, I think they are in as of today, but it is a team we have to be prepared for in all facets. I am still kind of getting used to the team and stuff, but it is an exciting game. There is going to be a lot of energy. I am trying to see if there is something there where there is some difficulty. We are going to stay with it for a little bit and give it some time to come together. It is an exciting team to watch but a dangerous team to play against. The Leafs are not expected to make many changes to the lineup that lost to Chicago in a tired situation on Sunday night.

If the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres score the way we're hoping they will tonight, there should be plenty of options for building a same-game...
The winger has cashed on this prop in 10 of his past 13 games, posting 14 points in that span. The Leafs did not have their best fastball on that night, but they still slid five pucks past Sabres goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on 23 shots. Tuch has a career-high 59 points in just 54 games, thriving on Buffalo’s top line. But the 26-year-old is under contract with the Sabres for a while longer, and they should be motivated to keep him thanks to this year’s breakout campaign. The addition of Ryan O’Reilly has bumped Tavares to the second-line wing — and that’s not a demotion. Neither team should have too much issue generating offence, but the Maple Leafs could take greater advantage against a team that struggles at home.
