Overwatch is at its best when it’s goofy (and maybe a little sexy). The devs are well aware of the memes and how fans perceive (slash thirst for) certain characters (Hanzo). It’s a pity that the dating sim will only be live for a couple of weeks. The standalone game, which you can play right now [on a dedicated website](https://loverwatch.gg/en-us), is crammed full of in-jokes, memes and just plain fun. One dialogue option gives you the chance to mock Genji for always needing healing, even when he’s deep in enemy territory and doing his own thing well outside the range of his supports. I don’t want to spoil too much, but you can expect some cameos and the chance to poke fun at several heroes.

The world of Overwatch has, to some degree, always been a bit more compelling than the game that inhabits it.

As if that wasn't chaotic enough, the Love of Geometry event will temporarily replace Hanzo's Storm Arrow with Scatter Arrow, a special arrow that can split and bounce off walls to deal widespread damage. The new V-Day game mode is called Love of Geometry, and will pit two teams of four against each other, with every player as Hanzo in his Cupid skin.

For example, if you keep asking why the game insists on being regarded as "non canon", the writers admit that they don't want fans rushing off to edit the character wikis based on the information revealed in the game.
