Adam Driver overcomes an existential crisis in this commercial for Squarespace—a “website that makes websites”, as he repeats over and over in this sci-fi spoof. “I gotta do me, Missy,” he tells her and sends the world mad for triangles. “We’re gonna eat a lot of snacks together!” Tuco says with delight. Titled Singularity, the ad features a suited Driver confronting the idea that “Squarespace could create itself,” as he begins to multiply. “You wanna quit rap for a triangle?” questions Missy Elliot. “Like a baby dolphin!” She then starts squeaking like a marine mammal. “You guys are delicious,” he tells them. “Welcome to Dunkin’—we’re a very friendly establishment,” he says.

I was initially disappointed in a memories commercial because the song (which made me think of my upcoming wedding), but then it got a bit amusing, especially with the cat. but this didn’t do anything for me outside of a half-grin for the Elton John joke. I just know not calling someone a rock star is a big deal, and commercials that have unclear messages, or make us wonder what the company even is, fail. but the Grease-inspired commercial was a bit fun. Honestly, I got a bit tired of the Zach Braff and Donald Faison commercials… You have to watch this on YouTube because the NFL… And if you were one of the rare humans who never saw Breaking Bad, all of the jokes are lost on you. I’ll give him Top 25 just for the craziness of it all. - One note on the rules: We skipped most of the same ol’ (non-funny) car commercials, banking, and such… We’ve all heard that hold music so much we despise it, and we have also fallen for the mid-hold remain on hold. EV-il was nostalgia on a comedy, this goes for humor on one of the darkest shows ever. Super Bowl commercials seem to be on the rebound the past few years.

"Consumers are looking for a good laugh and to feel comfortable," said Rich Weinstein, a professor at VCU Brandcenter. In the final ad, he proclaims it true and takes a wild ride through a neighborhood. The celebrity-studded, Caddyshack-inspired ad pits tennis superstar Serena Williams against Succession actor Brian Cox in a match for the ages. The brand trapped food-named actors Jon Hamm and Brie Larson in a giant refrigerator. Sports celebrities abound in an ad that combines beer with a promo for Netflix golf docuseries Full Swing. in the company's Super Bowl ad, he's back and attending a wedding (of... Peanut gets a different kind of roast as comedians come together to tease the animated peanut-shaped mascot with the top hat and monocle. Comedian Will Forte dons a spacesuit to star in the ad. General Motors and Netflix have teamed up to promote electric vehicles, part of a partnership that will see more EVs featured in Netflix productions. A shorter version will air during the game. When in doubt, use a dog in your Super Bowl ad.

What the ad didn’t do is make a case for that being a Bud Light. That just feels like their creative is stuck in the ’90s. Yet despite being one of the few ads about something that played Sunday, the goal of its message seemed muddled, a perception reinforced by details about The ads for this evangelical campaign were certainly arresting in reminding people, say, that Jesus was a refugee, and to love everyone. Hollywood will likely never completely bounce back in the streaming age, but the studios appeared to serve notice that they’re not giving up without a fight. [This year](https://www.cnn.com/sport/live-news/super-bowl-2023-eagles-chiefs/index.html), the scales tipped heavily toward celebrity talent – in several cases, thrown together in incongruous bunches – in commercials that were loud but frequently didn’t make a whole lot of sense. Of that roster of titles, give the nod to “The Flash,” which should stoke enormous interest in that Warner Bros. title (like CNN, a unit of Warner Bros. A fun idea, indifferently executed. Where were the other highlights, which were outnumbered (as usual) by the middling or low ones? Then again, this year’s crop of beer ads were mostly flat, especially given the high bar that Budweiser has customarily set for Super Bowls past. While this doesn’t include every spot that aired, if an ad featured four or more celebrities, assume it leaned toward the “loser” column.

Then, at the last second, Blue Moon comes in out of nowhere to steal the entire commercial. I heard this ad hyped up on several podcasts in the lead-up to Super Bowl LVII, and I was very skeptical about it. This may not have been the most clever commercial of the evening, but I contend that Ferrell elevated the material and got a couple of grins out of me. The fight choreography was fun and reminiscent of an extremely low-budget "Everything Everywhere All at Once" with ice, coasters and hot dogs being used as weapons. Also, him critiquing the decisions of "Love Is Blind" participants should become a regular feature on the show. As is always the case, a number of the commercials were somewhat forgettable, but there were a handful that stood out well above the rest.

Time has not dulled people's obsession with Breaking Bad, especially as its prequel Better Call Saul just finished a massively successful run. Whether it was Ben Affleck in his native Dunkin' habitat, a (meta) commercial about Bradley Cooper and his mom recording a T-Mobile commercial, Jennifer Coolidge applying e.l.f.

The mass appeal of this commercial is there without question. We got a little unchained melody making us think this would be a sappy memories commercial, and then they flipped the script. Ben Affleck working a Dunkin drive-thru and then getting Jennifer Lopez to commit to the bit was pretty funny.
