Here’s hoping eli_handle_b.wav graces us with another hilarious Mass Effect mash-up video that holds us over until Bioware gives us [a crumb of news on the upcoming Mass Effect game](https://kotaku.com/mass-effect-4-andromeda-shepard-normandy-cerberus-1849753473). My favorite scene in the mashup hands down goes to the extra touch of camera work and model placement eli_handle_b.wav put into Michael Scott’s not-so-daring evacuation of the capsized Normandy. Once he finished watching the entire sitcom in two weeks, he concluded that “Michael Scott is the perfect candidate for commander of the Normandy.” Producing the video also took him around two weeks using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Mocha Pro. Such scenes include Normandy’s destruction at the start of Mass Effect 2, a Citadel dance party, and a steamy bit of platonic arm touching with Miranda Lawson. Now there’s a new Mass Effect YouTube video that’s taken the fandom by storm, and at the helm of the Normandy is the most unlikely hero we never knew we needed, The Office’s Michael Scott. Prior to making the video, eli_handle_b․wav said he’d never watched The Office before.
This incredibly edited video answers what it would be like if Commander Shepard was replaced by Michael Scott from The Office in Mass Effect.
Michal Scott in Mass Effect is only the latest in a series of videos by eli_handle_b․wav editing movie and TV characters into video games. He gets overexcited, runs away from danger, and makes a puppet punch Joker in the face, and that’s exactly what we would do if we were space captains. Where Shepard punches reporters, Michael Scott is content to accidentally apologize for the wrong thing.
Someone has created a mash-up that combines Mass Effect with The Office, putting Michael Scott in charge of the Normandy.
[eli_handle_bwav](https://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/100376881/type/dlg/sid/UUtgUeUpU2049262/https://www.youtube.com/@eli_handle_bwav), the talented creator is responsible for all sorts of videos that put famous characters from movies and TV shows into some major video games. Let's hope the new protagonist is a little more qualified than Scott at saving the galaxy as it seems likely whoever is tasked with stepping into Shepard's shoes will need to perform the same sort of heroics as they did for three iconic games. A voiceover section that includes my personal favorite scene from the mashup, the paper-selling boss using a cat puppet to punch Joker in the face as he attempts to fly the Normandy. [BioWare](https://www.thegamer.com/tag/bioware/) continues to work on the next game in the series. Scott awkwardly shuffles around but breaks his silence when Anderson feeds him the perfect line for a “that's what she said” response. Cut to Scott on the Normandy labeling the ship the best place he has ever worked.
A Mass Effect fan posts a hilarious video, that expertly edits Michael Scott from The Office into some of the series' most iconic moments.
[Teasers have begun to release for Mass Effect 4](https://gamerant.com/mass-effect-4-teaser-liara-human-defiance/), but details have been sparse so far, although that hasn't stopped fan speculation from running wild. The seemingly random nature of these mash-ups means that fans can't even make a guess as to what they're planning to release next. The video, simply titled "Michael Scott in Mass Effect," edits many of Steve Carell's finest moments on the show into some of
Someone has edited The Office's Michael Scott into scenes from the Mass Effect trilogy and the results are hilarious.
[Home Alone](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sl0v2lfATg) in Resident Evil Village is good fun, too. A special shoutout to the lighting in the video. Someone made a video editing The Office’s nutty boss into scenes from the [Mass Effect](https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/games/mass-effect) trilogy, and the results are hilarious. [‘eli_handle_b.wav’](https://www.youtube.com/@eli_handle_bwav/videos) has countless videos on their channel, editing iconic film characters into famous video games. [Austin Powers take a stab at running the Normandy](https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/austin-powers-spliced-into-mass-effect-makes-a-disturbingly-good-shepard), but the 60s spy is probably too old school to be fighting Reapers in the year 2183. Miraculously, the lighting on Michael (almost) always matches the ME casts'.
The Mass Effect universe is overflowing with intergalactic danger, and no leader has the skills to take on spacefaring threats quite like The Office's ...
Or how about that part in Mass Effect 3‘s Citadel DLC when the crew parties the night away? [eli_handle_b․wav](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUdZY_KRQndvMIPD-8_uXRw) shared a new video where Michael Scott takes command of the SSV Normandy from the original Mass Effect trilogy. That latter sentiment is entirely incorrect, of course – but someone proved he’s up to the job in a wild crossover.

For instance, note the scene where Michael uses the puppet to punch at Joker's face while he is flying the ship. [eli_handle_b․wav](https://www.youtube.com/@eli_handle_bwav/featured) (Eli) devotes his spare time to "green screening" television and movie characters into iconic video games using the Adobe video editing software After Effects. I loved how he shoves Ashley into the flames so he can get to the exit door. The video is the best one Eli has posted so far. To know what I mean, watch at least the first 10 seconds of the masthead video. Just for laughs: At my age, cynicism has tempered my sophomoric sense of humor to the point where I can at least swallow before laughing at something juvenile.
