Mavericks vs Warriors Picks and Predictions: Dubs Dominate Doncic ... (Covers.com)

NBA odds, picks, and predictions for the Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors on February 4. NBA betting best bet and free pick analysis.

But he’s listed as questionable for this one with a knee injury. Unlike the spread, which hasn’t budged much from its original opening line of Warriors -10, the total has seen plenty of one-sided movement. Not only is Golden State second in the NBA in points per game, but they’re also second in first-half points per game (60.7). The more minutes he plays, the more impactful he’ll have to be, especially if Green and Thompson sit out. An expanded role could be forthcoming for Wiseman, who averaged 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in the 2020-21 campaign. Curry has led the Warriors in scoring in each of his last six games, averaging 31.7 ppg in that span. But there were a couple of bright spots in that defeat — aside from Curry’s typical brilliance. Dallas is a dismal 24th in first-half points per game on the road this year (55.4). [James Wiseman](https://www.covers.com/sport/basketball/nba/players/188032/james-wiseman). Draymond Green (calf) and Klay Thompson (non-COVID illness) could also each miss their second straight game tonight for Golden State. That’s where I’ll be headed for my best bet in this one. Dallas is 0-6 in games without Doncic this year, getting outscored by an average of 12.5 points.

Jim Turvey previews how to bet Mavericks vs. Warriors, including updated odds, picks & predictions for Saturday's game.

Furthermore, in three of those four games, he reached 15 points, including a career-high 25 points against the Blazers just last month. They are 2-5 against the spread in those games, with three straight-up losses. Even if he is struggling to hit his shots, he should clear 20 with relative ease. Because of all the players listed as questionable, player props have not been released yet, but I’ll be looking at a few different angles. First, I’m going to be looking to Tim Hardaway Jr. The Mavericks’ most recent game was a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, but that papers over just how sketchy this team might look on Saturday. Part of that is the Rubber Band Effect we’re seeing in many NBA games every night, as teams with massive leads see them shrink more often than not. The Mavericks will officially be without their two leading scorers, Luka Doncic and Christian Wood, as well as Davis Bertans, who has been inconsistent all season and Maxi Kleber, who has been on the shelf since December. He has missed six games this season, and the Mavs are 0-6 in those games, with losses to the Houston Luka Doncic was forced to exit the game at the 6:47 mark in the third quarter, with the Mavs leading 84-57.

NBA picks: Mavericks vs. Warriors prediction, odds, over/under ... (DraftKings Nation)

We go over some of the best betting options for Saturday's matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors.

Dallas is 0-6 this season without the services of Doncic and five of those losses have come by at least eight points. On the injury front for Dallas, Doncic will miss tonight’s game with a right heel contusion while Spencer Dinwiddie will be available while dealing with a right knee injury. Golden State is 15-9-1 against the spread at home this season and this seems like a perfect get-right opportunity with no Doncic to deal with. Take the over. The final score is not indicative of how lopsided this game actually was as the Mavericks stormed out the gate and were up 70-43 at the half. Stephen Curry put up 28 points, five rebounds, an five assists in the loss.

Warriors' Stephen Curry exits win vs. Mavericks with leg injury (Sportsnet.ca)

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry left Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks with an apparent leg injury.

He returned for the three games of the recent road trip and Kerr noted: "I think in all three games on the trip he looked much more like himself physically and aggression-wise. They had won the last three facing the Warriors and 10 of 12 overall in the series. I fully expect him to keep that going, and as that happens the shots will start to go in.” Wiggins had nine points on 4-for-6 shooting. Warriors: Andrew Wiggins continues to progress after a tough a stretch in which he missed 15 games and then another three with both a strained thigh muscle and non-COVID illness. 22 and Dorian Finney-Smith 18 points to lead the Mavs, who had won two straight and three of four. “So we'll just have to wait and see the results.” ... F/C Maxi Kleber (torn right hamstring) is improving and went through a good rehab session Friday, Kidd said. Dallas began a second five-game road trip in about a month. ... F Christian Wood (fractured left thumb) scrimmaged and did fine and will continue to progress in the on-court work. But Doncic accounts for 33.4 points, 8.9 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game for Dallas. “When you have something that works all game long you don't go away from it.” Thompson scored 14 points.

Mavericks vs Warriors Recap: Dallas falls on the road, 119-113 (Mavs Moneyball)

Dorian Finney-Smith, Tim Hardaway, and Spencer Dinwiddie were certainly able to find the bottom of the basket, as the scored 35 points. Unfortunately, despite ...

Only Steph Curry was injured at some point on a drive late in the third, and despite the Warriors ending the frame 102-86, there was a chance for the Mavericks to make this a game. The Mavericks spent the final frame working hard to make this near blow out a game, slowly working the lead down, only to see the Warriors blow the lead right back up. But a crushing Kevon Looney offensive rebound and a late Dallas turnover was just enough for the Warriors to hang on and for Dallas to fall, 119-113. They don’t have the horses. We’ve known that the whole season. It’s the nature of this team. A concerted offense effort from the Mavericks in the second quarter could’ve helped even the score if Dallas were able to defend. [Dallas Mavericks](https://www.mavsmoneyball.com) fell on the road Saturday night to the [Golden State Warriors](https://www.goldenstateofmind.com), 119-113. Constant Warriors turnovers made it a game; over the next three minutes the Mavericks went on a 13-0 run to close the lead to five with just under 90 seconds left. Dallas steadied themselves, climbing back into the game slowly and pulling within three, 24-21 at the 3:34 mark. The third quarter gave the viewer all the feelings of a game where both teams were ready to get to the finish line healthy. Unfortunately, despite closing the lead down to as few as 11 with two minutes, the Warriors put the gas on late and carried a 73-58 lead into the half.

NBA player props for Saturday: Mavericks vs. Warriors best bets (Yardbarker)

The Dallas Mavericks travel to the bay area to take on the Golden State Warriors. Kade Kimble brings the best prop bets for this matchup.

The 49ers had the first pick in that draft and there was a ton of speculation that Rodgers was worthy of the No. Only one of those teams finished a season in the top 10 in yards gained, while only four finished in the top 10 in points scored. Watt was asked about Pickett's progression in the first part of that season: "We knew as soon as he stepped in the building, he was going to be a good component for us, a good leader. It has turned out to be one of the best value picks in franchise history as Kelce has become a key part of a team that has been to three Super Bowls in the past five years. Instead of pursuing baseball, Kelce ended up going to the University of Cincinnati and was a third-round pick by the Chiefs in 2013. Those changes weren't enough to make punts as safe as the league would like, and it will need to do more if it wants to curb the number of injuries suffered on those plays. "Injuries on punts and kickoffs continue to be 'disproportionate' to the frequency of plays," ESPN's Kevin Seifert reported. As part of a broader article on the state of injuries in the NFL -- which were up 18 percent in 2022 — was a tidbit on data on injuries on kickoffs and punt returns. With them often playing small, and Wiggins playing a forward role when it’s happening, he’s got to find ways to provide value off the ball. That’s the price you pay when you play a heliocentric offense and the player you play around is out. The Mavericks got the best of the Warriors in November, but Curry finished the game with 32 points. Both teams have a lengthy injury report, but the Warriors are more likely to play with their stars.
