Barrie police say three suspects are in custody - two adults and one youth - after a robbery at a cellphone store on Saturday.

Peel Police have arrested two youths and two adults in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in Mississauga.

Officers who were in the vicinity observed the vehicle in question were able to bring it to a stop. No one sustained physical injuries, and the suspects are believed to have fled the area in a white Elantra that had been stolen somewhere in Peel Region. Police say one of the suspects was brandishing a handgun and attempted to gain access inside the establishment, but failed in his attempt.

Two of the arrested in this incident failed to adhere to the conditions of their release on previous charges. The suspects were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Sunday, Jan. Police confirmed the suspects were arrested in the area of Mavis Road and Highway 403. One of the suspects allegedly brandished a handgun and attempted to enter the business, but failed to do so. The two youths are each facing an additional charge of fail to comply with release order. It is alleged three suspects approached the business while the other suspect remained in a vehicle.
