Bassett has appeared on Broadway in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” and “The Mountaintop.” Stephanie Hsu, best known on Broadway for featured roles in “Be More Chill” and “SpongeBob SquarePants,” earned a nomination in the same category for her turn in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” Both movies were also nominated in the Best Picture category.
