In a video posted to Instagram, Franco says that making Somebody I Used to Know had the couple feeling “nostalgic” for the early days of their relationship, “and we found an old voice recording from 10 years ago. This is a real recording of Alison eloquently expressing her love for me.” By way of explanation for the next few seconds of audio, Franco added, “I saved it in my phone as ‘Alison drunk.’”
