As one of 2022's best animated movies, a tame box office should not deter viewers from giving Puss In Boots: The Last Wish a chance.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is a fun and emotional rollercoaster that’s inventive and uses animation techniques to boost its artistic value, it’s practically everything that an animated movie should be. [since Bob Chapek took over as Disney CEO](https://gamerant.com/disney-bob-iger-return-huge-deal/), the company started limiting releases of Pixar movies to Disney Plus streaming, a decision that has kept well-liked films from the world's most prestigious animation studio away from movie theaters. Credit really must be paid to screenwriter Paul Fisher (The Croods: A New Age) for his work on this film because it is his ingenious screenplay that has led to one of the most enjoyable films of the year. Unwilling to face his mortality, Puss decides that it is time for him to retire from his life of crime and soon he finds himself unwillingly living as a cat in a home for retired cats.
