Hendershott earns PGA Tour Champions associate member status (Brantford Expositor)

Brantford's Dennis Hendershott not only checked off one of his golf goals last month, he also made local history.

Fighting a stiff neck, Hendershott shot rounds of 70 and 74 to begin the tournament. Hendershott was excited to see final stage qualifying in Arizona. “It definitely opens up some opportunities,” Hendershott said. “It’s the toughest tour to get onto with only five (fully exempt) cards available each year.

The Korn Ferry Tour’s 33rd season will feature 26 events, culminating with 30 TOUR cards awarded at the conclusion of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance, contested Oct. The 2023 Korn Ferry Tour season is set to commence later this month at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay, Jan. The top 25 on the Regular Season Points List, having already secured TOUR membership, played to improve their spot on the Priority Ranking.
