Rob Gronkowski shuts the door on Buccaneers reunion (The Pewter Plank)

After a silly tweet last night that made it seem like he was open to returning to football and potentially the Buccaneers, Rob Gronkowski killed the idea.

Gronk was never going to be the x-factor, but it still would’ve been nice to see him play one more time in pewter and red. He might be a different overall talent, but Cade Otton is proving to be a great draft pick that is exceeding expectations in every way, so he should have plenty of opportunities down the stretch and into the playoffs. It’s going to be tough, but this news doesn’t kill the chances for a good rest of the season.
