It’s amazing how we felt we had it all figured out after the first period of the Ottawa game (last week), and then for the last eight periods it’s three losses in a row. “I think for a lot of these games we’ve been taking too many penalties which is not allowing us to play our five-on-five game, which I feel has been pretty solid for the most part, and we’re working on that. I felt we got better as the game went on. ET start and were wondering what it was like for the visitors to Mullett Arena. “You’re not going to get the results that you want all the time,” the coach said after the morning skate.

If both Florida and Montreal finished in the bottom 10 of the league, the Canadiens do have the possibility of drafting one and two. If they fold under the weight of it, then this 2023 draft could just be the best this century, and the Canadiens will be picking in the top 10 at least once. That also increases the odds of the Canadiens winning the lottery. If the Canadiens win in this extremely difficult strength of schedule, then fans will rejoice over how quickly this young talent is developing. [Montreal Canadiens fall to the Ottawa Senators (Dec.
