The OPP said the children were last seen near Alliston in Simcoe County.

Amber Alert Ontario tweeted that the children were located just after 10 p.m. The alert was sent out around 9 p.m. Police have not yet disclosed where the children were found, nor the circumstances around their disappearance.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a boy and a girl -- twin siblings -- last seen north of the GTA.

The alert was cancelled an hour later after the twins were located in the Toronto area with the assistance of Toronto police. In the alert, police said the teens were believed to be in a black SUV last seen in Alliston and that two female suspects were being sought. Police did not provide specifics about the call but said an investigation was launched, resulting in an Amber Alert being issued just after 9 p.m.
