Beverage and snack giant PepsiCo may be planning layoffs. But analyst takes were mixed on what the cuts meant for the industry.

The layoffs at PepsiCo would come amid a growing number of job cuts in the tech and media industries. โ€œA strong brand is always going to have pricing power,โ€ she said.
