Watch live on Sky Sports NFL from 12.15am, Tuesday. Rodgers finished 19 of 30 for 203 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The three-time defending NFC North champion Packers dropped to 3-5. He added 49 yards rushing, including a powerful 20-yard gain on third-and-14 to set up his 1-yard TD pass to Dawson Knox that opened the scoring. Diggs was spotted running sideways and yelling at the cornerback on their way out of the tunnel. Their feud continued as the teams filed back to their locker rooms. He was limited by an injury-depleted group of receivers. Green Bay has not been 3-5 since 2006, Brett Favre's second-to-last season.

Packers vs. Bills final score, results: Josh Allen, Buffalo hand Green ... (Sporting News)

Sporting News tracked all the key moments as Green Bay took on Buffalo on "Sunday Night Football."

ET (7:20 p.m. - Time: 8:20 p.m. The Packers and Bills will kick off at 8:20 p.m. That's a three-and-out, and the Bills have to punt for just the 12th time this season. Allen rolls left and it looks like he might try to run it in, but at the lasts second he flips it into the back corner of the end zone for his tight end Dawson Knox! After a short pass on 2nd down, Rodgers throws to Aaron Jones on 3rd and 7 but the running back is dragged down well short of the sticks. — The final play of the quarter is a completion to Stefon Diggs for a gain of about 10. — The Packers need an answer, and it looks like they're turning to the running game. Jones makes a catch for 11 yards and a first down to start the drive, but on the next play a pass deep over the middle gets tipped and nearly intercepted. Then, strangely, the Packers opt to just hand it off to Jones and he gets wrapped up well short of a first down. — Green Bay embarks on a methodical drive, with Jones and Dillon making up the entire offense at the moment. The Bills will punt, and Rodgers will get the ball back with about two and a half minutes left.

Without Actual Victories, Packers Cling to Moral Victories (Sports Illustrated)

The Green Bay Packers lost to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. The outcome was as predictable as the sunrise.

Are the Packers good enough to get to the playoffs? But an offense that predictably has struggled and a defense that has shockingly underperformed, with no signs the coaches can fix the problems on either side of the ball, point to mediocrity being the new standard. The Packers used to be about winning and pursuing championships. Last week, the Packers lost at the woeful Commanders. But it doesn’t change the reality that the Packers are not equipped to beat a really good football team like the Bills. The Packers trailed 24-10 when the Jets took over at their 37 with 9:12 to play. Never mind that the Jets’ final three possessions were four plays for 74 yards and a touchdown, five plays for 66 yards and a touchdown and 13 plays for 60 yards and the clinching field goal. Two months ago, it was whether the Packers could beat the Bills in a potential Super Bowl preview. As part of that drive, Green Bay stopped a series of plays run inside the 5-yard line. The Packers lost by 10 points. Really, did anyone truly believe the Packers were going to beat the Bills? On the road.

7 standouts from Packers' 27-17 loss to the Bills (Packers Wire)

Maybe it was the Buffalo Bills letting up on the gas in the second half, but the Green Bay Packers showed some fight to prevent a blowout in Week 8.

It was encouraging to see the rookie bounce back in a big way. He hasn’t added much in the passing game (only five receptions for 56 yards entering the week) but did have a nice nine-yard pickup on a tight end screen in the third quarter. They ran the ball effectively against the number one run defense, but a fourth straight loss and a Minnesota Vikings win on Sunday has them four games back in the NFC North. Next week, they will take on a struggling Detroit Lions team, which could give them a chance to get back in the win column. It wasn’t enough to get a win, but the Packers’ plan of attack was actually pretty good. This primetime matchup came and went, with the Packers falling to the Bills 27-17.

The Packers (3-5) will face the Detroit Lions (1-6) at 1 p.m. The Bills (6-1) will battle the New York Jets (5-3) at 1 p.m. The Packers went on an 8-play, 77-yard drive to open the second half. Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie ran for a 7-yard score on the next drive. Allen threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dawson Knox on the Bills' second possession. Packers cornerbacks Rasul Douglas and Jaire Alexander each intercepted Allen on the Bills' next two drives. The second turnover sparked an 8-play, 95-yard touchdown drive. Linebacker Matt Milano also intercepted Rodgers in the win. They went up 14-0 when Allen connected with Diggs for a 26-yard score early in the second quarter. I feel like if we can just get one, then the whole momentum changes." "Obviously, in the second half, we wish we had a few things back. Welp, it turns out the Bills were every bit as good as advertised (Deadspin)

They had to go through a gauntlet to begin their season, and their only loss has been to global warming.

Those additions have kept the Bills near the top of the league on that side of the ball even after losing Micah Hyde for the season, and Tre’Davious White still not ready for game action. That’s two more quarterbacks on his level than Allen would have to face if the Bills were in the NFC. They would be staring eye-to-eye with the Eagles at the top of the NFL as one of two undefeated teams if not for that humid nightmare of a loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. Having fended off both the Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens on the road, the Bills shouldn’t have another tough road game until Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals — if you watched the New York Jets yesterday there’s no reason to believe next week will be a challenge at MetLife Stadium. They signed Allen to a contract extension in 2021 for less guaranteed money than what the Arizona Cardinals gave Kyler Murray this past offseason. were no longer a team on the rise coming into this season.

Because that was better than the alternate, playing for the run and letting Aaron Rodgers throw for 30 yards per play and score within two minutes like we saw late in the game. On defense, the Bills were okay allowing Green Bay to run on them, and it was fine.

Diggs & Jaire battle it out, Von Miller praises Matt Milano and a Jordan Poyer injury update.

"Yeah, I'm concerned anytime a guy gets hurt and Jordan has been one of our one of our better players for a number of years here, we'll just see," McDermott said. "He's passionate about the way he practices and then that carries over to the game." I know it's been kind of a frustrating year for me as far as a couple of injuries, a couple of setbacks." I just saw the ball up in the air and got it." Safety Jordan Poyer, who has been dealing with injuries since the start of the season, left Sunday night's game in the second half with an elbow injury and did not return. But just like any other game, Allen is going to look at areas of his game that need improvement throughout the week to prepare for next Sunday's matchup against the New York Jets. "Things that we can do and things that I can do differently, obviously that changes the feeling and the outcome of that game. Milano was on the cusp of making a big play all night. He is the real deal," Miller said, referencing his teammate's jersey number. "We already had so many talks about positive self-talk and it sometimes it just takes things to happen to know like 'I can't do that'," Bills LB Von Miller said. "In this grown men sport, my job is to take food off of your plate, so it obviously creates a real hostile environment where things are going to take place," Diggs said. "In those moments as far as I said like being emotionally aware, you'll get aggressive cause guys are mad cause you are going back and forth," Diggs said.
