Wyatt said he lost a lot of things over the past year: his career, his self-confidence, two people who were very close to him, and he lost his way. People who were dealing with the same issues as him told Wyatt that his words helped them and saved their life. Wyatt said that -- for the first time -- this was just him. Wyatt noted that he got to a point where he thought everything he'd ever done was meaningless and didn't matter to anyone, but he was wrong about that. Bray Wyatt returned to WWE SmackDown for the first time in more than a year and cut a passionate, emotional promo.
It's clear that the former WWE Champion is more than one character since he showed off two of his gimmicks this week on WWE SmackDown. While this is only Wyatt's second appearance since his return, the promo has given away a lot about this new persona, and it appears that he is the one who needs help. This was the angle surrounding the Firefly Fun House in its most simple form. Since everything in this storyline seemingly comes from Wyatt's mind, it would be interesting to see if he would portray himself as one of the characters and break the fourth wall regularly. However, it could be that Wyatt is playing a version of himself in this storyline. The former champion appeared to break character as he delved into his recent losses and the year he has spent away from the company.
On the latest episode of the blue brand, Rey Mysterio battled in a Fatal 4-Way match for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.
The mayhem started right away as Hit Row and Legado del Fantasma clashed on the rampway before the bell rang. A tremendous match between Perez and Bayley culminated with Bayley securing the pinfall for the victory. After the match, Omos and his manager MVP stormed to the ring to spoil Strowman’s celebration.
