Rapper Lil Wayne is listing his mansion in Miami Beach for $29.5 million. The music superstar bought the place back in 2018 for $16.75 million.

The American rapper, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., has just put his epic waterfront estate in Miami Beach on the market with a price tag of $29.5 million.

Indeed, the 35-acre Allison Island is dotted with luxury homes and condos that have become increasingly difficult to come by. Elsewhere, the expansive primary suite is fit for rap royalty, with dual primary baths, a walk-in closet, a lounge and a large terrace overlooking the bay. A grand mahogany-clad entryway leads to a great room with windows that run from the floor all the way up to the 22-foot-high ceilings.

Tucked behind gates, the estate features an impressive entry with double doors at the end of a floating walkway over water. Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., has sold more than 120 million records over the course of a decades-long career that has seen him release 13 studio albums and win five Grammys. His West Coast home has a bit more space, but the East Coast home offers a prime location.

A year after buying a home in California, Lil Wayne is looking to part ways with his Miami Beach spread -- and not for a song.

While itโ€™s unclear why he is listing the property, it may have something to do with the not-so fond memories of the city. Features include 22-foot-high ceilings in one of the living areas with sliding doors that open onto the backyard overlooking a pool, outdoor dining spaces and a cabana. There is a second family room and a junior suite with a private terrace, according to the listing.
