The Charlotte Hornets added LiAngelo Ball to their training camp roster, teaming him up with his younger brother, LaMelo.

The two teams will play in Charlotte on Jan. The Bulls welcome the Hornets to Chicago on Nov. LaMelo has been a jolt for the Hornets since being selected with the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. The team gave him a four-to-six-week reevaluation timeline for after the procedure, but there is no firm estimation for when he could make his 2022-23 debut. LiAngelo has yet to appear in a regular season NBA game. The 23-year-old also played in three Summer League games for the Hornets this year and averaged six points per game.

It would be interesting to see LiAngelo Ball and LaMelo play together this season if he makes the Hornets. On July 14, he made his debut for the team, which was in the midst of the season; he finished with 53 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. I used to play with with him all the time. The Greensboro Swarm of the G-League recently featured Ball in their roster. LiAngelo Ball remarked, “That’s the guy I grew up with.” I’m in constant communication with Melo and we see each other daily.
