Ufotable Begins Long-Term Genshin Impact Animation Project (Anime Corner)

HoYoverse and studio Ufotable are collaborating on a long-term Genshin Impact animation project, as announced earlier during the version 3.1 live stream.

The company launched the game on September 28, 2020, and it is currently on its 17th version. During [ version 3.1 live stream](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qC9wSPOExL4&t=3s) on Twitch, The CEO of HoYoverse, Liu We expressed his excitement about the upcoming collaboration: “Wow, we’ve been waiting so long for Genshin Impact to finally get its own animation series!“ Ufotable is a Japanese animation studio that was founded by Hikaru Kondou in 2000.

The creators of Demon Slayer are all-set to bring us the much-awaited anime adaptation of Genshin Impact.

For the unacquainted, Ufotable set high standards for the entire anime industry with its spectacular and jaw-dropping animation in the first two seasons of Demon Slayer. Well, it's good to know that the leaks were indeed true, as recently, [HoYoverse officially announced](https://genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/news/detail/23797) that it is collaborating with Ufotable for a "long-term" Genshin Impact animation project. The animated project promises to take us "on a journey to this brand new world full of adventures."

The Genshin Impact anime concept trailer begins in a forest, and with everyone’s favorite emergency ration, Paimon. The company announced that it is working with Japanese anime studio Ufotable on an animated series based on the game.

HoYoverse heard you like their anime game, so they're making an anime of it.

It’s a trailer that doesn’t do much more than tell you that Genshin Impact’s going to be an anime and shows off the game’s world, but dang if it doesn’t look beautiful. And what’s more, it’s a “long-term project,” which means it won’t be a one-off handful of episodes, though that’s not clear if it means it’ll be a straight adaptation of the game’s story. And with how popular it’s become, it’s the perfect time for it to get an anime.
