The changes in the titles come after Queen Elizabeth, Britain's longest-reigning monarch and the nation's figurehead for seven decades, died aged 96.

The title 'Prince of Wales' is reserved for the heir apparent and was held by Charles, now King. Prince William held title of Duke of Cambridge before the Queen's death. She had been suffering from what Buckingham Palace has called "episodic mobility problems" since the end of last year, forcing her to withdraw from nearly all her public engagements.
