Say hello to two new foldable phones, new smartwatches, and a new pair of wireless earbuds.
Samsung also says it has further enhanced the durability of the main screens by 45 percent over the previous generation. It's like a normal phone, but you can fold it in half like a clamshell—a boon to anyone who hates how massive phones have become over the years. At today's second annual Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung unboxed the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, which bring more refinements than ever to a still nascent category.
At its August 2022 Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold 4, the Watch 5 smartwatch line, and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
The Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro are available to preorder today and will begin shipping on August 26th. Samsung also discussed how it incorporates recycled materials into the designs of the products announced at the event. The Z Flip 4 looks a lot like its predecessor — and yes, it still flips down like the flip phones of days gone by.

An extra layer of durability protects the Galaxy Watch5. 1-Ranked Industry Analyst Patrick Moorhead covers Samsung's Unpacked event, where Samsung announced its next-generation Z Fold4, Z Flip3, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, ...
The Galaxy Watch5 Pro, which seems to adopt the naming schema of the Galaxy Buds is even more durable than the Galaxy Watch5. It has a sapphire crystal display and titanium casing. The Galaxy Watch5 Pro has the first of its kind on a Galaxy watch GPX features for hiking and biking. The Z Fold4 is still unmatched in terms of productivity and multitasking. The Galaxy Z Fold4 will be the first device to support Android 12L, a version of Android 12 that is specific to foldable and dual display devices. The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 have sleeker and more compact designs while improving overall device durability. If we look at how Samsung has taken the Note series and integrated it into the Z and S series devices, I would not be surprised to see a Z Fold with a built-in S pen in the coming years. Last year it introduced the 3-in-3 BioActive Sensor, and this year it is improving the accuracy and adding on a temperature sensor for a more in-depth understanding of wellness. The design aesthetics of the Z Fold4 has not changed very much, but Samsung has managed to make the chassis and the design slimmer and sleeker. The Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 is in both the Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 globally and enables the Z Series to be flagship powerhouses in performance, connectivity, and camera capabilities. The foldable displays on the Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 are 45% stronger than the main screen panel on the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3. I believe display durability is one of the main concerns for new fold users. For the Samsung Z Flip devices, Samsung does not need to spend a whole lot of time on the camera because the unique positioning and capabilities of the Z Series devices is not boring. I was an early user of the first generation and have gotten my hands on every generation of both the Z Fold and Z Flip. Last year it was an 80% improvement, and this year it is a 45% improvement in the durability of the folding display.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro preorders are now live. Here's where to get your hands on Samsung's latest smartwatches.

AT&T is currently offering a buy one, get one free promotion offering you two Samsung Galaxy Watch 5s for the price of one. The 44mm model (opens in new tab) is also available to order and costs $309. Priced at $279 (or $329 for the LTE model), the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is proof that Samsung has truly found its stride in the smartwatch space. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro costs a hefty $449 ($499 for LTE) but packs double the battery life, a more durable design and dedicated GPS tools. Preorders for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 are now live.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 delivers a better foldable experience with Android 12L in a sleeker and lighter design.
But the Galaxy Z Fold 4 could be worth the splurge for those who demand the ultimate in productivity on the go — with some fun on the side. It has the same battery capacity of 4,400 mAh as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. This is one of the things that makes me nervous about the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 supports S Pen input, but there's no built-in holster for the pen. The Galaxy Z Fold series is no longer a step behind the Galaxy S series when it comes to cameras. And the Z Fold 4 really impresses when you look in the shadow areas. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 does a generally solid job capturing this statue of William Cullen Bryant. While the statue itself could be a bit more crisp, the surrounding stone has a remarkable amount of detail. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is available for pre-order now and has a release date of August 26. The Z Fold 4 measures 6.1 x 2.6 x 0.55-0.62 inches open and 6.1 x 5.1 x 0.21 inches closed, compared to 6.2 x 2.6 x 0.56 to 0.62 inches (closed), 6.2 x 5 x 0.25 inches (open) for the Z Flip 3. To make multitasking easier, there's a new Taskbar that appears at the bottom of the Galaxy Z Fold 4's display that automatically shows your recent apps. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 should be available through major retailers as well as all three big wireless carriers in the U.S. Be sure to check out our how to pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 4 page for the best sales and discounts. And that's because it has a wider aspect ratio than the Galaxy Z Fold 3 (opens in new tab). That makes the 6.2-inch panel easier to use with one hand and frankly will make you feel more comfortable using the cover screen for things like checking notifications and quickly responding to messages.
Samsung has officially unveiled its Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds with improved sonics, ANC and battery life. Here's everything you need to know.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 earbuds have arrived! Sound tuning is by Samsung-owned audio specialist AKG. The Buds 2 Pro feature a newly designed 2-way coaxial speaker driver to handle separate mid/bass and high frequency bands. This is exclusive to Galaxy smartphones with Android 8.0 and One UI 4.1 or later with 1.5GB RAM or above. We'd hope for modest improvements in sound quality and ANC, while we definitely prefer the new design based on what we've seen so far. Our full review will be available in the coming days, along with face-offs against their closest competitors, so stay tuned for more. Thankfully, they look nothing like the awkward Samsung Galaxy Buds Live. The weight is under 0.2 ounces per bud. Samsung's Bixby assistant is fully compatible, as you'd expect, and can be activated through the touch-and-hold gesture — but there's no mention of Siri or Google Assistant support. The case, meanwhile, should provide 20 hours with ANC on and 30 hours with it off. Customers who pre-order will get a free wireless charger, and Samsung is offering money off and credit on eligible Galaxy Buds trade ins. Take calls on-the-go with powerful ANC29 to eliminate outside noise. This leaves AirPods Pro trailing behind in terms of day-to-day battery life performance. The charging case is not rated for water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 seems to hit most of the right points to push foldables closer to true mainstream. You’ll have to pay for that upgrade, however, as the starting price of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is C$375 higher than the previous version with the same storage. Battery capacity remained the same gen-on-gen, raising the concern that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 may suffer the same lacklustre battery life as the previous generation. I can’t say whether the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a step up, but it held up fine with good lighting. The phone will ship with Samsung’s One UI 4.1 operating system, and will be updated to the One UI 5.0 once it releases. Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 paired with 12GB of memory. I was dismayed to hear that the S Pen will not be included with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. While the 4,400 mAh battery would’ve been ample for a regular smartphone, it struggled to power the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s large display. To get it, users need to pay $50 for the passive S Pen Fold edition, or $100 for the active S Pen Pro with a Bluetooth connection. When it’s closed, users can still operate the Galaxy Z Fold 4 using its 6.4-inch front display. With a 120Hz refresh rate, vibrant colours and sharp contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s display unleashes the best viewing experience of any smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a skinny phone that opens like a book to reveal a tablet-sized 7.6-inch screen. The Z Fold 4 screen is also brighter than the Fold 3 and has a higher refresh rate than earlier models, which makes things like scrolling through websites smoother. The battery and charging speed have also improved on the Watch 5 thanks in part to a 13% larger battery. The camera on the Flip 4 has been upgraded with a sensor that is 65% brighter. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a small pocketable square that opens up to reveal a 6.7-inch screen inside. The buds launch on Aug. 26 for $229.99. The Watch 5 Pro lasts 80 hours on a single full charge. Both of Samsung's new folding phones support the company's S Pen stylus, a feature that drew consumers to its Galaxy Note phones for years. The Flip 4 also has a slimmer hinge, making the seam less obvious. Its design is also more durable for users who are engaging in more extreme sports. The Watch 5 also has a new body temperature sensor for more accurate health readings. It is aiming for foldable phone sales to surpass that of its past flagship smartphone, Galaxy Note, in the second half.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 has a new skin-temperature reader, more scratch-resistant display and a longer-lasting battery life.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 seems to introduce a respectable collection of incremental upgrades. I still need to wear the Galaxy Watch 5 overnight to gauge the coaching experience and general accuracy. But unlike the option between the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 vs. I look forward to putting the Galaxy Watch 5 through the same trials, so stay tuned. I’ll update this review as I get more experience with the Galaxy Watch 5. As you might recall, last year the standard Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 offered an updated shape and feel compared to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic remains on sale as well. The most notable new internal Galaxy Watch 5 feature is the addition of a temperature analysis sensor, which appears to exist separately from Samsung’s 3-in-1 BioActive sensor. Speaking of health sensors, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 has a new one to offer — a skin-temperature reader. Though be sure to check out my hands-on Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro review. Otherwise, the watch is positioned to become the best Samsung watch for most people, and could even be the best smartwatch of the year. No, it’s not all that different from last year’s Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, but the handful of upgrades have incremental, yet ample appeal.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro look like strong upgrades from their predecessors, offering more durable designs, bigger batteries and new ...
However, the Watch 5 Pro could appeal to those who want a smartwatch that’s more robust than regular watches and lasts longer on a charge. The software shipping on the Watch 5 series is Wear OS 3.5 with Samsung’s One UI Watch on top. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro adds a new fitness feature: GPX compatibility. That’s pretty reassuring to hear — the Watch 4 series didn’t exactly do that well in the battery department, so any improvement is welcome. The Galaxy Watch 5 series uses the same 3-in-1 BioActive Sensor that debuted on the Watch 4, which combines optical heart rate, electrical heart signal and bioelectrical impedance analysis sensors into a single unit. When it’s time to recover from a workout, Samsung says the new Galaxy Watch 5 series offers an improved suite of tools like customized recommendations on water consumption based on sweat loss and post-cardio heart rates. The Watch 5 Pro felt noticeably heavier than the standard Watch 5 in our short hands-on time, but not to the point where it was uncomfortable to wear. It’ll come with custom watch faces, a lifetime membership to the Smart Caddie app and a unique two-tone band. We also saw two new smartwatches for the first time: the consumer-oriented Galaxy Watch 5 and all-new, rugged Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. There’s plenty in each watch to talk about, so let’s dive in. The bezel is raised around the screen to add some extra protection, and it comes with a more rugged band selection. It’ll cost a bit more than the regular Watch 5, starting at $329.99 for the Bluetooth models. If you order from Best Buy, you’ll get a free $40 gift card with a Watch 5 or a $60 gift card with a Watch 5 Pro.

Alongside the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and the Galaxy Flip 4, Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro at its Unpacked event.
On the other hand, the Watch 5’s Pro counterpart is available in ‘Black Titanium’ and ‘Gray Titanium’ colourways. Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch 5 comes in 44mm and 40mm size variants, with a 1.4-inch Sapphire Crystal Super AMOLED display for the former and a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display for the latter. The Galaxy Watch 5 starts at $280 for Bluetooth and $330 for LTE. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro starts at $450 for Bluetooth and $500 for LTE. The new model's longer battery life, more durable display, and more accurate health tracking could make the Galaxy Watch 5 a solid step up from the Galaxy Watch 4. If you're a fan of having the latest gadgets, the new Galaxy Watch 5 is well worth considering. But Samsung says health metrics are more accurate than the Watch 4 due to a greater surface coverage area that allows for more contact with the skin, and the addition of a new temperature sensor. If you buy one Galaxy Watch 5 model with an eligible installment plan, you can get a second for up to $430 off. The biggest update, according to Samsung, is that the Watch 5's health tracking is more accurate.

The watch can easily sync to your Galaxy smartphone for the best user experience and can even provide up to eight hours of sleep tracking with just eight minutes of charging—a whopping 30% faster than the Galaxy Watch 4, according to the brand. Unlike previous models, the Pro is outfitted with GPX, turn-by-turn directions and a track-back feature, making it an especially good option for hikers and cyclers. Outfitted with a 3-in-1 BioActive Sensor and a new temperature sensor, the smartwatch is designed to provide more accurate health readings than the Galaxy Watch 4, including heart rate, blood oxygen level and stress level tracking.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro caters to outdoor sports enthusiasts with a durable design, dedicated GPS features and an 80-hour battery life.
That’s about 30 more hours than the standard Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and double the expectancy of the Galaxy Watch 4. Software-wise, it seems the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro are pretty similar. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro claims up to 80 hours of battery life with 590mAh battery capacity. And for now, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is positioned to be one of the only Wear OS watches specifically suited for outdoor experiences. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is outfitted with GPX, which basically lets you share geographic information with others and keep a reliable track of your routes. As I did with the Garmin Instinct 2, one of the best Garmin watches, I’ll take the Watch 5 Pro hiking and outdoor biking. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is coming for Garmin watches — or, so it seems. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has both Samsung’s 3-in-1 BioActive sensor (heart rate, SpO2 and body composition via BIA) and the new temperature analysis sensor. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro comes in a formidable 45mm size, with a case that’s uniquely elevated around the display. It’s rated for 80 hours, which is nearly double that of the standard Galaxy Watch 5 and an impressive stamina upgrade compared to what we’ve seen from Samsung wearables in recent years. As for durability, the watch is water resistant up to 5ATM with a IP68 rating. But from our first impressions, it’s shaping up to be the best Samsung watch yet for hiking and other outdoor activities.
Samsung, is back again with the whole new Galaxy Fold 4. This comes after full details of teases and leaks, confirming what we strongly susp.
The taskbar has been moved from the side to the bottom of the screen. It’s not much, but it does make the display feel a little less cramped and a little more like a normal phone. The Fold 3 included a 2x telephoto lens, which has thankfully been upgraded to a 3x optical zoom — 2x doesn’t get you very far. It should be a noticeable improvement, but it’s not yet up to the level of what you get in the S22 Ultra. And like a true 2022 flagship, it includes a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset with 12GB of RAM, starting with 256GB of storage and going all the way up to 1TB. Samsung, is back again with the whole new Galaxy Fold 4.
Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event revealed the brand's latest phones, watches and earbuds. The new products are available for pre-order now.
You can also pair the buds with your Samsung TV. Should you receive a call while watching Netflix, the buds can connect to your phone momentarily, then go back to your TV programming after the call finishes, according to Samsung. The buds are also 15% smaller than the last version and have a battery life of 5 hours with active noise cancellation on, or 8 hours of battery without. You can also purchase the Bespoke edition, which allows you to customize the colors for the body and frame. You can also take photos and film stories and reels hands-free with the FlexCam feature, which allows you to fold the phone to act as its own stand/tripod. The Z Flip 4 still offers an armor aluminum frame and has IPX8 water resistance. The newest phone in Samsung’s Z Flip line has a slimmer hinge than the previous model, the Z Flip 3, which means more space for a larger battery that can reach a 50% charge in 30 minutes, according to Samsung. The cover screen helps you take check your notifications and take selfies with the back camera, manage your smart home devices and even pay for items without unfolding your phone. Samsung notes they removed a metal layer from the screen and added fiber reinforcement to another layer to keep the new model lighter without sacrificing the screen’s durability. Compared to the Z Fold 3, the new Z Fold 4 has thinner bezels (the space between your screen and the outer edge of the phone), so it has a larger display without increasing the physical size of the phone.

The Galaxy Fold 4 features 12GB of RAM that enables true multitasking on the device, while the iPhone 14 Pro, like current high-end iPhones, is expected to feature just half of that. On the outside display, the Galaxy Fold 4 has a 10MP selfie camera, and the inside features an under-the-display 4MP camera. The iPhone 14 Pro's wide camera is also said to be receiving a 21% larger sensor to provide more detail to photos and improved low light capabilities. The iPhone 14 Pro is rumored to be gaining some significant camera improvements, including a major boost in the main camera. The lower-end models of the iPhone 14 will stick with the M11 material set. Here we've compared five Galaxy Fold 4 features with new features expected for the upcoming iPhone 14.
The Galaxy foldables are reimagining what's possible for smartphone users worldwide with unique experiences and interactions. Samsung created this new ...
Through Samsung’s leadership and obsession with device craftsmanship, Galaxy foldables are enhancing users’ everyday lives with smartphones made for the modern era. With foldable popularity quickly rising, Samsung is perfecting the production of Ultra Thin Glass to deliver more foldable devices to consumers. The key element to Samsung’s foldables is the Ultra Thin Glass, a proprietary material that can be folded hundreds of thousands of times while maintaining its durability and strength.

Samsung has launched a Galaxy Watch 5 and a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, with the latter replacing the Classic models and it ditches the rotating bezel.
Samsung knows this too, and equipped the Pro model with additional features designed for the outdoors. Plus, there's a 'Track Back' feature that can help you find your way back to your starting point. The Pro model is thicker though, to incorporate a bigger internal battery. That's primarily to do with the performance. All models are round, and feature Samsung's two-button control on the side. That means you get Samsung's BioActive sensor on the underside for all-day heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking.

Samsung's latest mobile gear is here. We've got the scoop on how you can save money by pre-ordering the latest Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold, ...
Pre-order now to get the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 smartphones, Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro smartwatches and Galaxy Buds2 Pro earbuds. These earbuds automatically sync with your other compatible Samsung gear and are easy to locate if you misplace them when you use the Smart Things Find feature built into the mobile app. For a limited time, when you pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 from Samsung, the company will throw in a free memory upgrade and cover. By pre-ordering these wireless earbuds right away, get a $30 Samsung credit, plus up to $75 in trade-in credit. The Galaxy Fold4 has a 6.2-inch cover screen, 7.6-inch main screen and an updated folding design which is designed to work well for holding the device with one hand or two, or for using the phone when it’s set down flat on a surface. The phone comes in four colors—graygreen, black, beige and burgundy (Samsung exclusive to Samsung’s website). Samsung has refined its Taskbar and App Pair software, making multitasking easier than ever.
Samsung pulled the curtain off new versions of the foldable Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold, as well as a couple of new wearables on Wednesday.
The battery can also last a whopping 80 hours on a full charge, so the Watch 5 Pro seems to be a useful companion for seriously outdoors-y types. There will, of course, be a good deal of synchronicity between your Samsung phone and your Galaxy Watch 5. Samsung didn’t go deep on what the potential uses of that would be, but of course app developers are free to come up with their own reasons to use it. However, this time's a little different, as this is the fourth round of foldables for Samsung with the introduction of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. Google Meet is one of the apps Samsung said is “fully optimized” for the Z Flip 4. When the phone is open and half-folded (“Flex Mode” as Samsung calls it), there will be app-specific controls on the bottom half of the screen. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor keeps it on par with recent powerhouses like the ASUS ROG Phone 6 and a 3,700mAh battery will power the phone. A 4,400mAh battery that supports wireless charging will do its best to keep the Z Fold 4 alive throughout the day and S-Pen support means you can doodle away with Samsung’s proprietary stylus (sold separately). Samsung said apps like Google Meet and Zoom have been specifically optimized for the Z Fold 4’s screen, too. First up is the biggest and most expensive device in the Galaxy Unpacked lineup, the new Z Fold 4, which comes in at the same $1,800 price point as last year's model. The most interesting changes for this year's Z Fold are on the software side of things. It has a gargantuan 7.6-inch foldable display on the inside and an outer display that allows you to use it more like a regular smartphone with the shell closed.
Samsung just announced the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the newest iteration of its foldable flip phone. Why it matters. Foldable phones have been widely available for ...
These are all welcome changes that cut down on the compromises you have to make when choosing between the Z Flip and Samsung's non-folding Galaxy S phones. This feature is new to both the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, although Samsung said it would evaluate bringing it to older foldables as well. The Z Flip 4's battery size is also getting an increase to 3,700-mAh capacity compared to its predecessor's 3,300-mAh battery. The Z Flip 4's cover screen is also getting a few new additions. Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip 4 on Wednesday during its Unpacked event as part of its latest effort to popularize foldable phones. The Z Flip 4 has new software that takes advantage of its foldable design, improved cameras with better low-light photography and a bigger battery.
Instead of jumping off from the Buds Pro design, these Bluetooth earbuds clearly started with the look and feel of the Galaxy Buds 2 and then took an Exacto ...
Each bud comes equipped with a 61 mAh battery and Samsung rates the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for 5 hours of playback with ANC on and 8 hours with it off. A car drives to the right of you, hits a hill, flies over your head, and lands on the left with a crash as a helicopter flies in from left to right. The buds fit perfectly and don't look silly. The general lack of heart-thumping bass is a limitation of almost any earbuds, as opposed to over-the-ear cans, which can fully cover the ears and slam your head with audio. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro feel as good and secure as they look. This may be because Samsung is over-processing the audio it's picking up and passing through to my ears. To put this in perspective, the noise cancellation felt slightly more complete than what I get on Apple's AirPods Pro. It's not a huge difference, but there is something there. I found that taking a firm grip on the outside of one bud, inserting the silicon tip into my ear canal, and then turning the bud counterclockwise until the small lip rested on one edge of my tragus worked perfectly to create a solid fit and seal. The buds have an IPX7 rating which means they can withstand a drop in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Even so, the cutouts for sensors and mics are much more significant and visible than on any previous Galaxy Bud version. That Samsung did this while making the earbuds 15% smaller than the last Buds is impressive. Instead of jumping off from the Buds Pro design, these Bluetooth earbuds clearly started with the look and feel of the Galaxy Buds 2 and then took an Exacto blade to the body, carving away bits and pieces to accommodate better mics and sensors to improve fit, audio, and noise-canceling abilities.
Samsung's newest watches, the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, are arriving Aug. 26. They feature better battery life and skin temperature sensors, ...
The biggest difference with Samsung's newest watch this year is that it won't be the only Wear OS 3 watch around anymore. Temperature sensing has been a recent trend in wearables: Fitbit's watches have had it for a couple of years, Amazon's Halo bands have it, the Oura ring has it and Apple's next watch is reported to have it. The Watch 5 has a 410-mAh battery in the 44mm size, or 284 mAh in the smaller model. One thing that does appear to be gone, though, is that physical rotating bezel that was on the classic Watch 4 design. These watch faces and their colors will offer up most of the customized looks for most people, anyway. The bigger jump comes in the new Watch 5 Pro model, which has a huge 590-mAh battery. Samsung's Bluetooth-only Watch 5 will start at $280 (£269, AU$495), with the LTE version starting at $330. But the bigger-battery titanium-cased Pro model starts at $450 (£394, AU$725), or $500 for the LTE version. The previous Watch 4 had a 361-mAh battery for the 44mm size, or 247 mAh for the 40mm version. Meanwhile, Samsung's new watches are promising longer battery life over last year, a skin temperature sensor and a supposedly more durable sapphire crystal for the watch face instead of Gorilla Glass. The Pro model's extra-beefy battery promises days-long wear between charges, a trend that Apple's reported to follow on its next watch this fall. Is the Watch 5 worth getting? Google has the Pixel Watch arriving this fall, promising a blend of Fitbit and Google automatic smarts and design. This time it's coming with a bigger Pro model to go with it, with both models set for an Aug. 26 release alongside the new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4.
