Cal alum and former Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested Tuesday for allegedly driving under the influence in Las Vegas.

Officers determined he was impaired, arrested him and booked him at the Las Vegas City Jail with a DUI. Lynch, 36, was born in Oakland and attended Oakland Technical High School where he earned the nickname Beast Mode while playing football for the Bulldogs, according to Oakland Tech's website. He eventually pleaded guilty to reckless driving in that case.

He was hired on Monday as a special correspondent for the Seattle Seahawks.
