The Winterlicious and Summerlicious programs, created by the City, began in 2003 as a way to boost Toronto's restaurant industry during typically slow periods of business. The program has been renewed to help the local industry generate much-needed revenue while encouraging people to travel the world with Summerlicious. Summerlicious 2022 will run from Friday, August 12 to Sunday, August 28 with delicious prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at more than 200 local restaurants. Reservations are strongly recommended and should be made directly with the participating dining establishments. Dining out has never been more enjoyable!" Postponed throughout 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the return of Summerlicious is good news for restaurants, residents and visitors to Toronto.
