It looks like Warframe will soon be a multi-game franchise. This weekend, Digital Extremes announced a new spin-off action RPG – Soulframe.

While Warframe features fast-paced combat, Soulframe will focus on slow and heavy melee combat. The Action MMORPG will also be free to play, just like Warframe, although exact monetisation methods could well differ. It looks like Warframe will soon be a multi-game franchise.

Announced during TennoCon 2022, the free-to-play fantasy MMO will be “heavily influenced by themes of nature, restoration, and exploration.”.
