Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano was named as a replacement player for the All-Star Game set to take place on July 19th in Los Angeles.
The Markham, Ontario product took over the closer role last year and has been fantastic this campaign, tied for the AL lead in saves at 19 while owning a 2.73 ERA through 34 outings and 33.0 innings.
