Watch Hyundai N Vision 74, RN22e Concepts In Action On A ... (Motor1)

Hyundai's latest electric concept cars have the world talking, and they pack some impressive power to back up the sporty styling.

Digging the N Vision 74's retro styling? An Ioniq 6 N is all but guaranteed at this point, though it may not look exactly like the RN22e. Sadly, Hyundai has made no indication that the N Vision 74 will reach production. As for the RN22e, it may or may not preview an Ioniq 6 N model.

The Hyundai N Vision 74 is a Retro-Futuristic Hydrogen Dream ... (RoadandTrack.com)

An unused Hyundai Pony Coupe design, a hydrogen fuel cell, and more traditional EV batteries add up to an unforgettable concept.

Like the RM20e before it, the N Vision 74 is a concept meant to test the viability of sustainable future performance technologies for the N brand. Hopefully, something that looks like the N Vision 74 will eventually follow. Hyundai says this improves both cooling efficiency and the precision of torque vectoring to the rear wheels.

Hyundai N Shows Ioniq 6-Based RN22e And N Vision 74 Fuel Cell ... (InsideEVs)

The former is a regular BEV with 577 horsepower, but the retro-inspired vehicle is actually a hydrogen fuel cell EV also with a high-output powertrain pushing ...

The Hyundai N Vision 74 FCV concept is even more powerful and radical looking, with its 1970s-infused design and it apparently has a range of up to 600 km (373 miles) on one tank of hydrogen. The RN22e has the exact same power output as the Kia EV6 GT, but since this is a lower, wider and sportier vehicle, it should be much better through the corners. And while its body may be similar to an Ioniq 6, Hyundai says this one-off is actually quite different mechanically, with an emphasis on making it a solid track vehicle.

The Hyundai N Vision 74 Is Hydrogen-Powered Perfection (Jalopnik)

The N Vision 74 combines some of the best vehicle designs of the past with the (possible) fueling technology of the future.

The goal is to have the N Vision 74 run a balls-to-the-wall lap of the Nürburgrig without overheating and reducing power. Inside the N Vision 74 is a driver-centric space that Hyundai says is also supposed to blend new and old. Only time will tell if we ever get any sort of production car that looks even slightly like the N Vision 74. The N Vision 74 was released to the world for “ N Day” along with a possible N variant of the new Ioniq 6. With twin motors at the rear, it allows for a more precise cornering experience. Just a day after the company unveiled its sleek new Ioniq 6 sedan, it dropped this perfect bomb on us: the N Vision 74.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 N, and the stunning, hydrogen-powered Hyundai N Vision 74 - which is one of the most badass Hyundais we've seen.

It has a hydrogen powertrain, which consists of two electric motors feeding the rear wheels. Now, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N has the feel of a potential production vehicle. The N Vision 74 is a high-performance hydrogen fuel cell hybrid model, which was inspired by both Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo and Hyundai Pony Coupe concept from 1974.

Hyundai N Vision 74 is the Sort of Hydrogen Concept the Enthusiast ... (BMWBLOG)

The all-new Hyundai N Vision 74 is a stunning hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle concept with a Giugiaro-inspired design.

Technically, the Hyundai N Vision 74 is both a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) and a pure battery electric vehicle (BEV). It has a large 72.4 kWh battery and 4.2 kg fuel cell tank with an 85 kW fuel cell stack. Hyundai claims the N Vision 74’s design was inspired by the Giugiaro-designed Hyundai Pony Coupe concept from 1974 and it does look a lot like that. The N Vision 74 is one of the coolest concept cars I’ve seen in a very long time and I’m going to beg Hyundai to bring it to life until it happens, even though Hyundai has said there are no plans to actually produce it.

The Awesome Hyundai N Vision 74 Bets Big On Hydrogen-Power ... (HotCars)

With its retro design, the Hyundai N Vision 74 concept resurrects the Pony Coupe concept, which was lost in automotive history.

This is a major disappointment as the N Vision 74 has all the potential to be transformed into a fantastic electric sports coupe with a design to lust for. Hyundai has said it only plans to use the N Vision 74 concept as a rolling lab. Its overall silhouette, with its sharp lines and the thick B-pillar, is reminiscent of the concept from Hyundai's yesteryears. Hyundai's performance sub-brand N has revealed its electrification plans for the future in a spectacular fashion by unveiling the retro-styled rolling lab concept of the N Vision 74. Hyundai says it will focus extensively on developing the N Vision 74 concept technology so that the future road cars from its N performance division can be equipped with these systems. Supposed to be Hyundai's first production sports car, the Pony Coupe concept eventually made it to the stage where a few production prototypes were built.
