Shroud has unexpectedly (though we should have) joined the Sentinels VALORANT roster for the LCQ tournament and, allegedly, Champions.

Shroud has no previous professional VALORANT experience, but is a known enthusiast of the game and has hosted various official watch parties for previous VCT streams. According to George Geddes, Shroud will be filling the controller role on the team. The community is flabbergasted at the news, but it does seem to be real despite some initial doubts.

On stream, shroud confirmed that ShahZaM is still the IGL. Shroud, who is 28, competed in professional CS:GO in North America since the game first launched, most notably for Cloud9 for a four-year period from 2014 to 2017. The organization announced the acquisition with a simple video on Twitter today.
