Patricky Pitbull won't be defending his lightweight title at Bellator 283 after all.

Lorenz Larkin vs. Sidney Outlaw vs. Douglas Lima vs. MMA Fighting has learned that Pitbull (24-10) could be cleared to training again in two weeks depending on how the treatment goes. Jason Jackson, has been promoted to a five-round main event, a person with knowledge of the shift told MMA Fighting after an initial report from MMA Junkie. Stepping in for Pitbull is former RIZIN champ Tofiq Musayev, who will face Outlaw on the event’s main card.
