UFC Odds: Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mateusz Gamrot prediction, odds ... (ClutchPoints)

Looking at the odds, pick, and prediction for the main event of UFC Vegas 57 between Arman Tsarukyan and Mateusz Gamrot.

This one is most likely going to have to take place on the feet in order for Gamrot to get the win in this one. As tough as it is to predict this fight, there are two factors that are going to determine the winner in the main event of UFC Vegas 57. Gamrot will be susceptible to kicks and Tsarukyan will have to utilize those in order to control the fight. The finish is going to be tough to get and winning the early rounds is going to be very important in order for Tsarukyan to walk away the winner. He became a star in his home country by competing at the top European promotion KSW. He’s faced tough UFC veterans like Andre Winner and Norman Parke and never lost before signing for the UFC. He lost a very close fight to Guram Kutateladze in his debut for the promotion back in 2020. It won’t be long before both of them are in the top 10 and potentially in the hunt for the lightweight title.

Yes (-117): Fight to go the distance isn’t that much less, so just stick with the Over. This fight should end via unanimous decision in favor of Tsarukyan. Mateusz Gamrot won the first main event of his UFC career by picking up a hard-fought unanimous decision over Arman Tsarukyan.

Raulian Paiva via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gamrot took the back of his opponent and hunted for a submission, but the fight would go to the final round. Rodolfo Vieira via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) He faltered in his UFC debut, dropping a unanimous decision to Islam Makhachev in 2019. Tsarukyan was able to reverse position in the final seconds and land a few punches before the final horn sounded on this very entertaining main event. He opened with another thunderous kick to the body and cracked Gamrot with a right hand a few moments later. With the win, Gamrot makes it four straight after the lone setback of his professional career against Guram Kutateladze in 2020. After controlling Tsarukyan on the mat, they returned to the feet and continued to let the strikes fly. Another hard kick to the body scored for Tsarukyan as Gamrot shot for and completed a takedown. UFC Fight Night Report: Mateusz Gamrot defeats Arman Tsarukyan ... (POST Wrestling)

Mateusz Gamrot was victorious in Saturday's main event against Arman Tsarukyan, plus Shavkat Rakhmonov remains undefeated.

A leg kick from Tsarukyan knocked Gamrot to the ground, and he tagged Gamrot with a few shots on his way up. Tsarukyan hit Gamrot with a pair of heavy leg kicks, before taking Gamrot down as he attempted to respond with one of his own. Even though Parisian was exhausted, he was able to posture up and land ground and pound shots until the fight was finally stopped. Maness was loading up with some big shots early in the final round, however, Nurmagomedov was able to match him on the feet, landing a front kick to the face at one point. This allowed Baudot to return to his feet, however, he was taken right back to the ground. In his post-fight interview, Curtis acknowledged the improvements that Vieira has made to his game, noting that his striking was much improved, which was definitely the case here, comparing this version of Vieira to the one that debuted in the promotion back in 2019. Vieira chased after a single leg, but Curtis was able to defend the attempt and landed a good body shot in the process. Curtis landed a heavy body shot in the final minute of the round, before connecting with a number of hard jabs. In the end, Nuerdanbieke just seemed to be the slightly stronger grappler, and it was his takedowns and control time that made the difference in what was otherwise a very close second round. Brown worked his way into top position with roughly ninety seconds to work, and Brown’s corner was screaming at him to separate, however, he continued to engage Nuerdanbieke on the ground, and the fight ultimately went the distance. Brown ultimately made the same mistake as Nuerdanbieke, losing that top position in an attempt to take his opponent’s back, however, he was able to prevent Nuerdanbieke from doing much with his top position by threatening a triangle choke. In the final minute of the round, Paiva finally broke away, and he threatened a guillotine choke to stay on his feet following a second takedown attempt from Morozov. 19-19.

Check out the full results and highlights from UFC Vegas 57, including a thrilling main event between Mateusz Gamrot and Arman Tsarukyan.

Gamrot was getting the better of Tsarukyan on the feet in this final round of an incredible fight. Giagos fought the hands and it looked as if Moises would have to switch arms to get the choke in but that was not to be. In the opening main card bout, Chris Curtis stuffed all 20 of BJJ star Rodolfo Vieira’s takedowns and turned this fight into what was essentially a kickboxing contest. Gamrot stuffed the takedown and then took Tsarukyan down for a fifth time. Parisian was in deep trouble midway through the opening round after Baudot wobbled and dropped him with a right standing hammerfist. Gamrot absorbed a knee from Tsarukyan and responded with a takedown and he took the back. Tsarukyan was slowing down and Gamrot controlled him the remainder of the frame. The Kazakhstan native outclassed and submitted veteran Neil Magny by guillotine choke late in the second round to maintain his undefeated record and keep his 100% finish rate intact. Tsarukyan timed a Gamrot kick to take the former KSW champion down, becoming the first man to get Gamrot on the mat. Just a remarkably high-paced round with action on the feet and on the ground. Gamrot took Tsarukyan down but it was only fleeting on the mat. UFC Vegas 57 is in the books, and it was another very compelling card with another main event that will no doubt have many fans debating the scorecards.

There were no losers in the Gamrot vs. Tsarukyan main event in our eyes, but the judges had to pick one. Arman Tsarukyan disagrees with their verdict.

It will certainly be a pleasure watching Gamrot and Tsarukyan continue to climb through the division. Tsarukyan came into UFC Vegas 57 at #11 and Mateusz Gamrot at #12. With what we saw from both of them on Saturday, both could be in the top five in another year or so. The bonus check will hopefully be a salve on that wound for Tsarukyan. That and the number of fans he picked up off that gutsy performance in the later rounds against Gamrot.
