Stephen Curry says he will play in Game 4 of Finals (NBA.com)

Golden State's star guard suffered a leg injury late in the Warriors' Game 3 loss in the Finals.

But he finished with just two points and four rebounds on Wednesday. “He told me it wasn’t the same thing.” Golden State trailed by as many as 18 points in the first half, but it was a 12-point Boston lead with about four minutes left when Jayson Tatum missed a jumper from the foul line. “We will know more” Thursday. I just asked, ‘Is that not the same thing?’” Green said. Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he also expects Curry to play as Golden State looks to even up the best-of-seven series, 2-2. Curry finished with a game-high 31 points. Ker said the Warriors will not practice today, and will use today more as a recovery day instead. I’m going to get him off his legs, though.” The Warriors’ last chance at a comeback victory in Game 3 ended with 3 1/2 minutes left on Wednesday night during a scramble that, like the game, went Boston’s way. “Take advantage of these next 48 hours to get ready.” I don’t feel like I’ll miss a game, though,” Curry said.

Stephen Curry injury update: Warriors star hopes to play Game 4 vs ... (CBSSports.com)

The Golden State Warriors lost Game 3 of the NBA Finals, 116-110, on Wednesday night, and Golden State will hope that's all they lost.

"I'll be all right," Curry said after Game 3. However, the quick turnaround from Games 3 and 4, with only 48 hours between them, will test Curry's pain tolerance. After the game, the two-time league MVP said it felt like a mild foot sprain. However, while the initial injury looked rather troublesome, Curry said during Thursday's media availability that he's playing in Game 4 on Friday. When asked how confident he was that he could play Friday without being limited, Curry said "I'm going to play, that's all I know right now." Curry remained in the game for another two minutes and was evaluated afterward.
