Google Drive on the web gains a handy feature you never knew it ... (Android Central)

Google has just added a new feature to Drive on the web to speed up the way you manage files, though you may be surprised that it did not already exist.

The feature is set to become more widely available on many of the best Chromebooks (opens in new tab) and PCs later this week. Google addresses this dilemma by enabling Ctrl + C and Ctrl + Shift + V to create a file shortcut instead of replicating the full-sized version. In addition, you can use Ctrl+Enter to open files or folders in a new tab. Having said that, it should now be much easier to manage files within Drive or replicate them elsewhere without having to right-click and select from the context menu. These shortcuts allow you to copy, cut, and paste files. That is changing now, thanks to a long-overdue update to the file storage service.
