The Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County serves more than 500 children and youth each year. To illustrate that children always come first at the Club, at this dinner, adults are given burgers, while all the Club kids in attendance are treated to a steak. Smith challenged young people to look forward and focused on the Club’s role in building leaders for the future.
