Cantlay finished T-9 at the Masters and followed with a T-3 at the PGA at Bethpage in 2019. Despite being just down the road from his college town, Wolff went 76-77 to miss the weekend. Still, his performance was far from pretty, shooting a 73 on Thursday and struggling mightily Friday to an 80. Garcia has now missed the cut in 11 of his last 16 major championships, with zero top 15s in that stretch. Dustin Johnson - For the third time in his last six majors starts Johnson wonโt see the weekend. Scottie Scheffler - The Masters champ had been lights out on golfโs biggest stages, finishing T-8 or better in five of the last seven majors.

A gutsy par putt for Woods at the first! But it comes down with a splash for Woods at the second. Morikawa lands a lovely approach into the fifth to within 10 feet, as he looks to get back to even par for his round. but the putt lips out around the back. Woods to within five feet at the fourth! Disaster for Woods - as he tumbles down the leaderboard with a triple-bogey six at the par-3 sixth.

Maybe my favorite passage in the history of sportswriting. With some of the biggest stars in the game in contention at Southern Hills, the final 36 holes of the PGA Championship are sure to be must-watch. Was in the 50s when I left the house and is overcast and chilly out here on the course. I think a good goal for Tiger would be to get back to even par for the championship. The first two rounds of the 2022 PGA Championship have seen golfers deal with differing conditions in the mornings and afternoons. CBS Sports will update this story with scores and highlights from the PGA Championship below.

Webb Simpson just made his second birdie in a row and he is the best round on the course at the moment at two-under. You know itโs not going to be your week when you play a good recovery shot from under the trees & this little fella gets in the way ๐ฟ๐ To top it off. Richard Bland missed the cut at 10-over but one of his bogeys was caused thanks to a squirrel. Found the penalty area after his tee shot, and played a miraculous shot from said area to find the back of the green. After two 74's, Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama starts his day with a birdie at the 1st. His fourth shot from the rough barely made it up to the green and a two putt leaves him tapping in for a triple-bogey 6 on the par-3 6th. After two pars, both players find the creek with their tee shots on 2. I suspect we will see more of that today, given how the cold and lack of mobility could impact him. We head to the 4th. Give him a tough shot to hit, move the ball around and show some creativity, Tiger does it. The guy is one of the world's best players. Rich Beem and Andrew Coltart on the Sky comms are not enjoying watching Tiger in his current state, questioning whether he should even be out there.
