LETHBRIDGE [email protected] the summer of '69? Well, maybe Bryan Adams will help you when he hits the Enmax Centre stage on Nov.

The 62-year-old Adams, a native of Kingston, Ont. who moved with his mother to North Vancouver in 1974, started his musical career in his teens with the band Sweeney Todd, recording tunes for that band’s 1977 album “If Wishes Were Horses.” Adams and Jim Vallance teamed up and co-wrote numerous songs for the Canadian musician and other artists. In 2019 his album “Shine A Light,” which was co-written by Ed Sheran, debuted at No. 1 on the album charts. He released his debut album in 1980 and had his breakthrough success with his third recording, “Cuts Like a Knife,” released in 1983. And the Canadian rock icon might also remind you that kids wanna rock. Adams’ show is part of his “So Happy It Hurts” North American tour, said Sakamoto on Tuesday. The tour is named after the latest album by the Officer of the Order of Canada which was released March 11. “We’ve done lots of Bryan Adams shows; my first one was 1983,” said Sakamoto who is only promoting the Lethbridge event.
