Erik Johnson is a leader for this squad as I previously mentioned and his G/60 and Defensive EV show that he produces a lot given his ice time. It’s important to stay out of the box to mitigate the impact of your opposition's powerplay abilities. I’d say that Jack Johnson and Bowen Byram are the most likely to get some postseason time. He doesn’t get around like he used to but is still a big-bodied stout defender with tons of experience. Johnson is a crowd favorite and was the first Avalanche to score a goal this season. It’s no secret what Kurtis MacDermid brings to the table, which doesn’t garner him a lot of minutes.
