More Kinder-brand chocolates recalled over concerns of salmonella ... (CityNews Ottawa)

The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which could lead to the recall of more products, in which the public would be notified.

The CFIA said there have not been any reported illnesses related to the recalled Kinder-brand chocolates in the country. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. The agency is now telling Canadians to check if you have the recalled products in your home, and to not consume the chocolate and candy, to instead throw the treats out or return them to the store you purchased them.
