The company’s Canadian unit is also recalling 10 Kinder products due to possible contamination. Ferrero, which had previously recalled some potentially contaminated products in the U.K. and Ireland, widened the scope of the recalls Thursday to include other chocolates made at the Belgian factory. Most of the cases were found in Britain, among children under 10 years old.
The products have been linked to food poisoning cases, mainly in young children, in at least ten European countries.
