Man United’s top four tilt suffered a huge blow in recent weeks, the Red Devils falling behind Arsenal and Tottenham. The Red Devils have won only one of their last three games. Both teams have only managed one win in their last five games. Burnley welcomes Everton to the Turf Moor in what promises to be a relegation six-pointer. Newcastle went on a strong run at the turn of the year, winning five straight. The striker has contributed a goal or an assist in each of Spurs’ last five games. Wolves are on a run that has won two of their last five while Aston Villa has won three of their last five. The Clarets have failed to win any of their last four games, picking up only one point. The Canaries have lost their last six games. Southampton has followed up a four game unbeaten run by losing their last three. After a week-long international break, the Premier League is back with a mini-double game-week for Everton and Burnley. Fantasy managers have enjoyed a well deserved two-week break after what has been a topsy turvy season. Liverpool is the clear favorite to win this fixture. Be sure to tune in here in the countdown hour so that you can find out which Reds assets to pile into!

English Premier League weekend best bets (New York Post)

Best Bet #2 – Manchester United/Leicester City Over 3 Goals (-115). Much like Leeds United and Southampton, these teams don't like playing much defense. History ...

This season, it has scored 34 goals on 39.5 expected and a good chunk of that discrepancy has come at home. The duality with this play exciting me is that United’s attack has played very well at home while Leicester has struggled to defend on the road. Further, it hasn’t held a top-half opponent to fewer than two goals away from home this season. Given it notched 2.3 xG in the reverse fixture against Leeds, expect another strong performance from the Saints. Goals should come quite easily for the Peacocks, especially considering how bad Southampton’s defense has played away from home. As a result, I’m expecting goals in this fixture.

Liverpool moved top of the Premier League for the first time this year as Diogo Jota's header and a late Fabinho penalty saw off Watford 2-0.

Sarr again created the danger with a burst down the left and his cut back was slotted wide by Joao Pedro. Sarr was included from the start by Roy Hodgson and was a major threat as he nearly caught Alisson Becker off his line early on. The visit of the Hornets kicked off a huge month for the Reds as they remain in the hunt for a historic quadruple of trophies.

Man City, Liverpool both win in EPL; Brentford stuns Chelsea (TSN)

Liverpool completed its 119-day mission to displace Manchester City from atop the English Premier League. It lasted only a matter of hours.

We have to feel the pressure, we have to handle it. What we did in the past, when we won 14 games in a row, now we have to win eight, otherwise we will not be champions.” Only Beckham, with 18, has scored more direct free kick goals in Premier League history than Ward-Prowse, who has moved on to 13. Liverpool and City have games in the Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday before what could yet be a decisive meeting at City's Etihad Stadium five days later. Ilkay Gundogan scored the other goal. “I really appreciate the situation we are in," said Klopp, who has already led Liverpool to the League Cup title and the latter stages of the FA Cup and Champions League. “I told the boys yesterday, if somebody would have told us in the summer that end of March, early April (we would be) in the situation we are in — in all competitions, won one trophy and a full squad available — we all would have taken it, absolutely.
