Positive Team Spirit At Arsenal Highlighted In One Photo After Win At Aston Villa (unknown)

A photo featuring Aaron Ramsdale and Bernd Leno has highlighted the positive team spirit in the Arsenal squad under Mikel Arteta.

One photograph showed Ramsdale smiling from ear to ear while pushing Leno closer towards Arsenal's fans to receive a standing ovation for his clean sheet. Aaron Ramsdale had started Arsenal's previous 24 Premier League matches, after displacing Bernd Leno as the club's first-choice goalkeeper in September. Bukayo Saka scored Arsenal's 2,000th Premier League goal to give his side a deserved win at Villa Park.

Arsenal go back for Aouar as Barcelona and Real Madrid look to ... (Football.London)

Arsenal can turn to Houssem Aouar after the potential Fabian Ruiz deal has been intercepted by Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Aouar would be an excellent signing by Arsenal and it is a deal they should have been pursuing regardless of the interest in Ruiz by a host of La Liga clubs. In arguably what is his greatest strength, Aouar has a similar ball-retention to PSG midfielder Marco Veratti and with Arteta favouring a slow build-up possession orientated system, he would fit perfectly into the side. Aouar, a creative player who Arsenal desperately tried to sign in the in 2020 was also subject to interest in the most recent summer transfer window.

Arsenal: 4 big positives from 1-0 Aston Villa win (Pain In The Arsenal)

Arsenal: 4 big positives from 1-0 Aston Villa win as Mikel Arteta's side take a grip of the Premier League top four ahead of international break.

Dropping points in this game would have been a travesty, and it prompted the late nerves, but even when the ball was in Villa’s grasp Arsenal still dominated the game from a defensive standpoint with their semi-famous 2-3-5. Whether or not they played 60 hours earlier and lost, their desire to take control of the match and keep the hosts at bay was as much about quality as it was about having the right mindset. Having exerted so much energy in the two previous games it would have been really easy for Arsenal to get stuck under the raucous crowd.

Edu gets the green light to terminate Arsenal's £33m Philippe ... (Football.London)

Latest Arsenal news includes fan reaction to reports Mikel Arteta and Edu remain keen on signing Philippe Coutinho ahead of the summer transfer window.

With that said, Steven Gerrard's side have the advantage and it would be a surprise if they did not activate the option following the Brazilian's fine start to life at Villa Park. Given that Villa retain a £33m clause to sign Coutinho permanently from Barcelona this summer, means Arsenal would likely have to match the offer in order to have any chance of securing his signature. Furthermore, it seems that Arteta and Edu have made their mind up on a move after getting a front row seat to witness the playmaker's talents in their 1-0 victory at Villa Park on Saturday as according to Sport, Arsenal are exploring the possibility of securing his services when his loan spell with the Midlands club comes to an end at the end of the season.
