Mario Kart 8 Deluxe players take to social media to complain about a surprising element of the Booster Course DLC: the grass.
They point out that for the amount of content being delivered, the cost of $24.99 for the DLC is extremely affordable, effectively doubling the number of tracks in the game. Players point out that the grass looks flat and lifeless in comparison to the original tracks that launched with the game. However, fans have been quick to point out some issues with the way that the grass looks in the new release.
Here are all of the shortcuts available in the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks that you can play right now.
Just before the first big flight section of the track, there’s a path hidden behind a pair of large Piranha Plant cutouts, just like in Paris Promenade. A Mushroom will help you blow through these and get to the flight section before your enemies. You can careen straight through a shop to cut a corner and pop onto the track ahead of your foes. The next shortcut is near the caverns at the end of the track. You’ll be able to find the one proper shortcut here by looking at the map. Once up the first escalator, you can take a right instead of going down another escalator. Paris Promenade has a few alternate routes that you can take, but we can’t consider these to be shortcuts, unfortunately.
