How I Met Your Father's HIMYM Cameo Fixed A Major Ted Mistake (Screen Rant)

By making its returning character less likable in their brief cameo, How I Met Your Father made How I Met Your Mother's Ted more defensible by proxy.

Luckily, How I Met Your Father season 1 proved that it is never too late to fix the mistakes made by How I Met Your Mother when it came to Ted’s character—even if viewers did have to wait until a spinoff before the story was resolved. However miscast MacLachlan’s HIMYM Captain may have been though, his brief appearance in How I Met Your Father season 1 somewhat ameliorated Ted’s character flaws. This issue was rarely more obvious than it was in Ted’s How I Met Your Mother season 6 romance with Zoey.

Roger has been a Disney fan since he was a kid and this interest has grown over the years. Disney has now confirmed on social media that in the UK and some of Europe, the entire series will be released at once on Wednesday 11th May 2022, while in Ireland, it will now have a stretched out release schedule with two episodes dropping, followed by a weekly release. It is rather odd that Ireland is getting a stretched out release schedule, meaning the finale is going to be released months after it airs in the US.
